Scurvy's a scavenger. He's grown up amongst ports and the boats desperately trying to stay alive. His mother was a prostitute who died when he was very young. His father, who knows? Scurvy can't even remember where he was born. Scavenging tends to be a very dangerous occupation, especially when it's other people's property you're stealing, especially when it's usually owned by heavily armed and tatooed men who believe in the philosopy of any port in a storm. Scurvy's learnt never too stick around in one place too long, or trust anybody. A gift offered in one hand is all well and good, but it's the other hand hidden behind the back that gives Scurvy nightmares, in his experience it usually contains either a knife or a jar of goose grease.
Scurvy's a young man probably in his late teens, but he's none too sure. Small for his age and extremely thin wearing bedraggled threadbare clothes full of patches, with long tangled brown hair and bright blue eyes. He does scrub up quite well on occassion.
He possesses a keen intelligence coupled with street smarts and an unerring knack for survival. Also his language tends to be rather, um, naval but it all adds to his charm...
He'd been hanging around the port for about six months and things had been starting to hot up. He'd become a marked man after managing to steal the figurehead of the galleon Siren's Charm. A rather fetching and provocative piece. Unfortunately he'd been seen, he'd ran, laid low before stowing away on the next boat to leave port. As he washed up on the beach he decided that it probably hadn't been one of his better decisions...
