Quarion was an Elven bard with a voice that could halt barroom brawls. Quarion was sitting
quietly in a bar, eavesdropping on sailors and travelers, trying to decide where to go next
when stories of the return of Isla de la Profundidades and the ship that was sailing to find it caught the
bard's ear. Quarion wanted to be on that exedition more than anything, so he made a point of identifying sailors from that ship, buying them drinks, and learning all he could. He discovered that the Captain loved music then arranged for one of his new "friends" to introduce them. After a few drinks, the Captain invited Quarion to join the expedition "so that our tale can be properly told."
Quarion is a young male with thick glossy chestnut fair, fair skin, and piercing green eyes. To human eyes, he is beautiful in an androgynous sort of way, even for an elf. He has high cheekbones, no facial hair, and is skinny as a rail. He prefers to use a bow or sling because these weapons rely more on dexterity than strength - and keep Quarion out of the thick of battle.He charms others with his personality rather than his looks.
Quarion is as bit of a loner, despite his outgoing nature. He does not sleep with the rest of the crew explaining when pressed that their snoring keeps him awake all night. Others on board have learned that their bard likes his "meditation time" to be undisturbed - not usually a problem as Quarion is rarely found when he does not want to be...
