Please post any queries you have in here regarding creating a character.

Just checking in to see how you all are doing. Is anyone close to getting their character completed? Is anyone stuck? Do you still want to play?

Well, I've got the stats done (I think) I just need to flesh out the character, but right now I've got some exams coming up and projects to complete, so I haven't done too much on that end as of yet.

I've had a read through most of it and I'm still very interested in playing, however, I hadn't realised it was all so involved and I am indeed stuck. I have a basic idea for a character, but would appreciate an opportunity to discuss it with you when you have time. Next time we're both in chat maybe?

I think i'm getting a tad stuck too I start then my head goes all dizzy I think I need to have a go at it when i've got plenty of time to get my head around the details!

Definately still want to play Mister S, Curry is puppy walking me through the stats/techinical stuff and I'm just fleshing her/him out. Have to admit I did struggle a bit but getting there now

to be honest been a bit preoccupied recently. I will try to get a character done tomorrow (my day off).

It is a bit involved. Okay.... what I'll do is keep an eye on the chat room and sort out a a walk through too. There's no massive rush because I'll be off on holiday in about 2 weeks. I'd like to get the characters sorted out rather than leave you all hanging.

In an effort to make things a little easier, I've started to add to the How To guide. I've also added a web based app to the Dark Age site to help you calculate your character's skills. It's nowhere near as good as the D20 thing we use, but it's a start. The link is in the Character Generation section.

Well, I'm back from my hols - who's first with a question about the game?

For starters I can't seem to come up with a race and points distribution that adds up to 92, instead of 100, whilst playing as a Sharc, and then the careers packages confused me even more. If we can arrange a time to Chat and go through it, it would be most appreciated.
