Background
Anna Herzoldt was a young, up and coming executive in the Blue Sky Corporation, a food and chemical company. She had a luxurious lifestyle and wanted for nothing. Coming upon something unusual in the records she went to query it with her superior Dr Steven Altris and walked in on an argument between him and Colin Hopton a senior exec in Internal Audit and witnessed Hopton murdering the Doctor. Unable to get out of the way in time, she was shot to silence her. Dying, she was smuggled away by a friend, Sally Herald, and taken to a tailor where she was completely rebuilt as a necro. To complete the disguise she took a complete new identity, now being known simply as Ophelia.
Having to leave her old life behind with all her wealth and luxury she had to learn to survive on the street and learn fast. She met a midman called Bailey in the BlackJacks bar, a short fat guy whose only occupations and interests looked to be food and smoking. He moved around frequently always to some food oriented place, a noodle bar or coffeeshop. Even the occasional greasy spoon serving as his 'office' on occasion. Ophelia was soon well set up as a cat burglar, stealing to order, Bailey setting up job offers, providing fake ID when needed and negotiating between her and the client.
Naturally Bailey had others he worked with but was careful never to name names, damage limitation if anyone was caught, although it was possible unofficially to figure out who worked for who. She started in areas she knew like infiltrating companies and organisations, being familiar with the corporate environment, returning later to commit sabotage or steal data, before moving on to other things like housebreaking. Despite Bailey's 10% cut she was doing well. Money arrived regularly on credchips which were either put into several accounts or, in view of the loss of her previous wealth, stashed away secretly should they be needed in a hurry.
Anna/Ophelia has no idea why Dr Altris was murdered but she was part of his team as well as being the sole witness, therefore she is a loose end should her survival be discovered. She still has occasional contact with her friend from the corporation who keeps her informed if anyone from her old life has been looking for her and also keeping watch within the corporation in case anyone involved in the murder should find out she is still alive.
Ophelia, like many Necros, wears a lot of black. Her day-to-day outfit is fairly tame featuring a touch of colour and (armoured) black jeans. She is tall and quite thin - perhaps perfect for a cat burglar. Her hair is long and black and she now has green eyes. When working, she has a c-cloth skinsuit that mimics the colour of the nearby environment.
