Philip paced up and down on the worn carpet of the pub, watched anxiously by Wheeler and Al. "Where are they? " he asked to nobody in particular. Wheeler stood calmly and put his hand on the other mans shoulder, "They'll be here, trust me."

The door of the bar bursts open suddenly, wind and dust blowing in like a small tornado. The dust then settles, a man in a suit and a cane walks in, his white eyes searching for something unseen, the doors shutting behind him, as by there own free will.
"Alexander Kane, at your service."

A large raven had been sitting on his motorbike when he emerged from the soil one night in the mountains of western Ukraine, a message tied to the bird's leg. Upon reading it, Aaron Slade grinned, his permanent fangs showing in the pale light of a waning moon. It was from his friend and clansman Daniel Wheeler of London; Dan's mark, a talon from some bird of prey or other, came with the letter, proving it's authenticity.
"Back to London, eh? 'Much prestige and the thankfulness of the Prince'?" Slade shook his head; Wheeler knew that the American had little use for prestige in London, it wasn't like he could carry that around with him. As for the Prince's thankfulness, he had that already; a few years ago, the Prince had granted him a boon for pre-empting a coup in the old city, and Aaron had yet to collect on it. Still... it was as good a time to go back as ever; the trail he had been following here, was cold. He had, recently met a giant of a clansman named Gregory (or was it Gregori?) who, like Slade, was searching for his Sire, and Slade had for a short while contemplated that they were looking the same woman. But when he learned how old the giant was, it seemed less likely. Now the huge man had travelled further east, and Slade was left with nothing. Again. So... why not London? There were Kindred there whose faces it would be good to see again. At least for a while. Before he had to go travelling again, as he was wont to do. Besides, there was clearly some mischief afoot, which might be intrigueing.
London, then...
*************************************************************
On the outside, The Bloodied Axe didn't seemed to have changed very much in the last few years. But then again, it was a vampire hang-out, and change didn't sit well with the type. Aaron parked his motorbike in the alley behind the pub, grabbed the saddlebags off the seat and slung them onto his shoulder, before heading inside through the backdoor.
Throwing the door open, he looked around the pub before spotting familiar faces and heading for them, while with a faux (and not very convincing) London accent, sang "Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner, that I love London so..."
Reaching into his pocket as he walked, he pulled out Dan's mark and tossed it over to him: "Stop leaving me your crazy lovegifts, you perv..." before grinning broadly and giving the man a bearhug. He then turned his attention to the Prince, and with a more serious demeanor gave the Toreador ruler a curt bow: "My Prince. I return to your city at the request of your primogen Daniel Wheeler. While I am in your domain, I am of course at your service and my hand is yours to command."

"Kane! They lured you back too? Or maybe you have been a permanent recident since last time?" Aaron said, readily accepting Alexander's extended hand, and giving it a good shake.
"As for my travels, they have been interesting, although less rewarding than I had hoped. I spents some time chacing down a lead on Lucifer, but it didn't pan out. It did put me on a lead to something else though. And then... that other things didn't pan out either. And so I'm here!"

Phillip stands silently while the reintroductions happen, he nods in greeting to both Aaron and to Alexander.
"Great to see you again guys, " says Wheeler a mischievous grin on his face. "Yet again we have a problem, a nasty little problem. A masquerade breaker who also appears to be a child abuser and killer."

Aaron frowned: "Well... it's can't be the dearly departed Sir Joseph Jameson, so clearly there is someone else around with a taste from the unspoiled. Do you suspect any that any of the local Kindred has suddenly developed an unsavory test for both innocent blood and the public eye? Is that why you've brought us in? Or do you think is is more akin to our last episode here, with the danger coming from out of town... well, mostly."

"No Aaron, i still get around a lot. Been to Egypt after the Set was here" Alexander said, then thinking of his surroundings, looks to the prince hoping that his boon hadn't just been used.
"I've been to lots of places. Maybe we could work together after this is all finished and find the one who stays a step ahead of you. I have a lot of resources you know, could maybe get places and things you cant."
To the Prince.
"So, where does the filth live Prince? And shall we exterminate him, or bring him to you, what is your wish?"

Blinking the sleep from her heavy lidded eyes Analise greeted the new day as she normally did. Snarling at the remains of the sunlight that danced behind the heavy brocade curtains, she stretched and contorted her spine with a wiggle of her tiny waist. The aroma of rich, dark coffee grinds filtered through the open window, washing over her newly awaken body. Gently moving her neck in a circular motion to ease out the knots and aches of sleep, strangeness caught her eye. Lightly hopping out of bed she padded over to note that had been thrust through the gap between the door and the floor of her Parisian apartment. Her vision glided over the words and spurred her into action.
As Analise sashayed into the Bloodied Axe she was aware of the multitude of eyes that watched her. She could see that she hadn’t been the only one contacted in this mysterious way. A group of men stood around one of the elders. As she approached she bowed deeply to the regal one, her dress nearly spilling her cleavage. Having attended to the formalities she flashed a sultry smile at the others and cooed “Well hello boys, good to met you” extending a hand to be kissed to the nearest chap “I’m Analise by the way”

When the note had managed to find Alucard he had already by chance been heading to London. At least, that's what he told himself, he had of course not been heading for London, but nor did he like to feel as if he was being controlled, even if he did fear the wrath of the prince should he choose to ignore this calling. Nevertheless, it begged the question, why him? He had never exactly been on the best of terms with the council, but he was no fool, he would have to go.
When he entered the bloodied axe he was instantly put off. He was not one for 'pubs' and the like, more used to the better class of stuff. Just being here was a trial all by itself. He moved forward to where there seemed to be several people converging, assuming that they must be also involved in this event.

Hearing Kane's offer, Aaron looked ponderous for a moment, then shrugged with a grin: "I appreciate the offer, Kane. And I'd be much obliged. But first things-"
At that moment, Analise introduced herself, offering her hand. "What's this; are we changing the winning team, Wheeler?" Aaron asked sideways to the Primogen, before snatching up the woman's hand and bringing it up to his mouth for a cursory kiss. Then he snapped his teeth together, a quarter of an inch from back of her hand, and looked her in the eye: "Careful who you offer your hand to, sweetling; one of these mights you might get bitten... Again."
With a roguish smile he let her hand go, gently, before noticing another man approaching the group. "You joining the party too, buddy?"

Them man in an overcoat and a well fitted suit, the one who was referred to as Kane, turns and looks towards the new comers. He doesn't look straight at you, kind of behind you or beside you. Looking at him, you can now see that his eyes are completely white, like a blind mans eyes.
He walks toward your voices, not using his cane so much to keep out of things way, but to walk as if it was a crutch, and walks up to the newcomers.
"My name is Alexander Kane." He says, still not quite looking at you, bowing deeply to the 'lady'. He then takes her hand without any help, as if he knew where it was, and gently kisses it. then he lets it fall of its own accord.
"And who may you be, mister...?" he says to the man who has not introduced himself as of yet.

"I am Alucard," Alucard said, his voice filled with an air of poshness. He stopped a few steps from the others. "I have indeed found myself in posession of an invitation, should it so please you." He looked across the others, his soft eyes taking them all in. He stepped forward another step, trusting them slightly more after having a good look at them. "Might I enquire as to what this is all about?"

Always being attracted to the dark and dangerous Analise swept her nose delicately along side Aaron’s neck and up to his jaw line and purred into his ear, ensuring she did not make any physical contact “Perhaps a nibble is just what I’m after” . Whirling quickly back to the other man who had just released her hand “Why my dear Alex at least someone in this company is a gentleman” As the moment past another one of their kind entered and asked the question that had been burning her lips, why had they been gathered together?

Breathing in through his nose as the woman was near, Aaron's eyes flashed with .. something feral, before giving his attention back to the room in general.
"Hang on... Aaron, Alexander, Analise and Alucard...?" he said, pointing to each person as he spoke the name, so that introductions were in place. "Damn it, Wheeler, you realize you've made it so we're bound to be referred to as "The A-Team", right?" With a shake of the head, knowing the poor joke was probably wasted on this lot anyway, Aaron turned to the most recent arrival.
"As to you inquiry about why we're here: Troubleshooting. I'm sure Wheeler don't mind relating the situation again, perhaps with a few more details this time? Or are we still expecting company?"
