moving along through the light hands sore from touching hot items you come into a half sheltered patch as you open your eyes briefly you look around boidies are hung from the roof and from what appear to be water pipes,
steam is escaping from some of the pipes as you look round you spot a dark tunnel out its not far and you can set a clear line to it.

Jessica looked around at the ceiling, doing her best not to throw up. "Oh, God, what is this place?" She looked at Natasha, her face draining of color. What kind of Hell had she stumbled into?

nothing registered with natasha although her bear skin was red like it had been sun burned "i have no idea what or where or why" said natasha
a shout from somewhere out there echo's into the tunnel but it is badly broken by hissing from several pipes.
"Sa............. Br............... an.......e.............n..................me"

"Natasha, did you hear that? Where is it coming from?" Looking at the woman's reddened skin, she was worried. Looking over herself, she was trying to see if she was badly....sunburned....but her pale skin seemed to be just fine from what she could see.

"Yeah, um which way were the voice coming from, could you tell?" Jessica unconsciously touched her face, feeling a bit of the burn on her face. This damned heat.....

Jessica looked down the tunnel that Natasha was facing. It didn't look any better than where they had come in from, but at this point she was willing to try anything to get out of...well...wherever they were. "If you think it's safe, then we'll go okay?"

the tunnel is carved from the rock and from what you can see it is level with the odd bump of worn stone. a old style fire torch is in a sconce on the wall just a few feet down the dark tunnel.
" its as safe as going back out there " natasha says beginning to scratch the red parts " look how do we light it " pointing at the torch.

Jessica shook her head at the question. "I don't have a lighter or matches on me. Do you?" Walking to the trch, she took it off the wall and hefted it like a club. It wouldn't do a lot of damage, but it was better than just her bare hands. "We might find something along the way we could use, but for now it is a pretty decent club." Giving it a few test swings, she feels natural carrying it like a weapon. Who had taught her to defend herself, and was it going to do her any good here?

" after you " natasha motions down the dark tunnel no light can be seen at all as the tunnel plunges into the dark.

Jessica sucks in a breath of air, and lets it out slowly, feeling more than a little nervous about going in first. But what could she do, anything in there would kill her regardless of if she was in front or behind. Holding the torch like a club once more, she steps into the darkness, hoping nothing is going bump in the shadows.

useing your foot as a search tool for the floor and bumping your bum against the wall you start to progress down the tunnel.
natahsa watches you go. *i dont like this* she thinks to her self but moves forward into the darkness moving a bit quicker not been able to see she bumps into you apologises then she rips of a length of cloth and ties it to your trouser belt loop and holds the other end.

the fealing of something following is to great for natasha and she constantly glances back at the fading light.

Jessica looks back only once, and keeps going into the darkness, feeling almost at home in it. That thought made her pause for a minute. What was wrong with her? She should be fleeing the darkness, not heading towards it. But the darkness did nothing to stop her advance, and she gradually felt her eyes adjusting to the darkness.
