the bed is a bit rough under your body like a relay old mattress, bright light is everywhere as you open your eyes it hurts for a short while but your eyes get used to it looking round the room first the sheets are stained red with dried blood where your stomach is. to your side is a small table with a jar of water and a cup bit dusty so you guess you have been out for at least a day. the rest of the room is plain looking mostly white with a few blood streaks across the wall. the floor it tiled and where the grout should be it too is stained red.
moving your torso hurts like your ribs are brused and your lower body (waist/legs) the pain is intense slow movements give you less lower pain but any sharp jolts will hurt walking is hard and you will need some help (makeshift crutch) the door is shut with no windows anywhere in the room.

Ow, that hurts... My eyes. Hell... Everything hurts...
Was there an accident? Is this some hospital? If so, it's ..not my local hospital.
Or is it...? What IS my local hospital?
Who am I?!
Where am I?
Think.
THINK!
Okay.. take it easy. Relax. Breathe...carefully.
Is that blood on the wall? And on the floor? And... on me.
Damn. I... I don't know if I want to look, but... well, if this is a hospital, someone probably patched me up.
I'll try to lift this blanket off me; check how bad it is...

your stomach and torso are wrapped in dressings which are clean and you are naked to boot.

No clothes. Well, that figures... I'll stay covered up for now.
Hell...
What happened to me?
My mouth is so dry.. that water over there looks great. Maybe I ought to think twice about drinking it, but... I suppose this is some type of hospital after all; they wouldn't give me water that could be bad for me, right?
Careful now. Slowly, slowly reach for the water. If you get hold of it, and there is pain, don't be surprised by it; don't do something stupid like dropping it. If there is pain, you grin and bear it until you have that water.

Careful now. Bring the jug to your lips. Don't drink too much; you down know how long you've been out. It's safe to drink, despite whatever they've done to you; otherwise they wouldn't have put it there. So, clearly, it's not going to come spurting out from various holes in you.
Ooooooh.. that is heavenly. Just a little more...
Be careful in putting it back now. Theeeeeere.
Right....
There is blood on my blanket... but my bandages are clean... and there is definitely blood on the wall over there. And on the floor.
What is going on here? I have to try and remember what I'm doing here in the first place. Did I hurt my head? Is that why I can't remember anything? Best have a feel to see if there are any cuts or bandages before I try anything else... like calling for a nurse.

Well, that's good news.
Carefully now, drape that blanket around your waist, and let's try and sit up. Take your time. See if there is a mechanism on the side of the bed or something, if not, you'll just have to take the pain and sit up on your own accord. If you get dizzy, don't close your eyes; we don't want you fainting now, do we, and crashing into the floor, undoing whatever it is the nice (nice? there's blood all over this place) doctors have done to you.
If you manage to sit up, try and put your legs over the side, and test them out a little. Careful, they could just plain give out. Hold on to that table for support.

pins and needles run through your legs as you move them and a deep ache stirs through your body but you manage to get your legs over the side and swing them for a while getting the blood flowing back to them standing up is harder than you thought.

OWOWOW! Damn it! I knew- WHAT THE %¤#&!?
Back up, back up, BACK UP! Use that table to get on your feet, you don't know whether... Or, well... no, that is a dead body.
Hang on.... Hang on just one sceond here; Whoa.... there's a dead body under my bed. And blood on by blanket and on the wall...
I did this.
Did I? Did I... kill... whoever?
I had better try to take a look at the body.

you crawl under the bed enough to get a hold and pull the body over onto its back as you do the smell from the decay is released into the room and has you bringing the water back up as you back out hurriedly you catch a glimpse of the rotting corpse and it has no face but looks to be female from the body shape and dress which is a nurses uniform.

Ugh... there went the water...
But Jesus... How long has it... she been laying there? This is insane! And what happened to her face?
I... I need to get out of here. This is clearly not a regular hospital! Unless... unless something happened.
Damn it, why can't I remember anything!?
I--- I need to see myself. My face. I'll recognize my face, right? Some reflective surface... Can't see a mirror anywhere...
The water! I'll spill some one the table, try and se how this damn, painful body belongs to... see if I have the eyes of a killer...

the surface of the table is dark and with the light you get a good look at the stranger looking at you looking at him.
