doubt creeps in the voice in your head **well you do hurt in most places maybe you did do it**
as you close to the gap you can see the lock the back of it is straight which suggests it open inwards the hinges are not visible.

If I killed her... IF. And that's a big if... why did I do it? Was it because she doing something to me? Or because fo the procedure? Did I try to kill myself, and got upset when I found I hadn't managed? Or maybe she gave me some bad news? I wasn't handcuffed to the bed, so chances are I'm not a criminal... well, not a wanted one, anyway.
No, speculating about it won't help.
That lock. I can see it pretty plainly. I wonder...
If I take this badge, and insert it into the crack above the lock and then bring it downwards, trying to get it to catch behind the lockslide itself, maybe I can jimmy this thing open...

as you begin to unwrap your bandage for the lock something falls to the ground.

What was that; did something just fall to the floor? Where did it go?

as you look round you spot a piece of glass glinting on the floor.

What the...
If I lean on the table I ought to be able to pick it up without too much pressure on my guts. Here we go...
Of course, I mostly worried about my guts because of these bandages, but the truth be told, I ache all over. For all I know, my guts are mostly healed up...

the slowness of the move to retrieve the piece of glass gives a little twinge in your stomach but no real pain. turning the glass over in your hand you spot lettering on one edge.

Property of Global... what?
And where did it come from?
I really need to figure out what happened to me. I'll take a moment to see if I can remove these bandages without hurting myself...

once the bandages are loose they fall freely to the floor unravelling by them selfs due to the weight the first set drop of and you unfasten the second set which are a little more stuck and need you to unravel them it becomes apparent you have split something as red begins to show through.

Sh*t.
I just want to see how bad it is, before wrapping it back up, tightly; I want o know what happened to me. Some matter of invasive surgery? Or was I stabbed or something?
Better make it fast, though; doesn't seem as though this place is functional, and if I don't get that door open, I'll bleed out...

you continue to unwrap your bandages and as you get down to the last few passes you notice your stomach skin is a different colour to your own skin touching it your fingers register that it is softer almost.

A ... what's the word, 'skingraft'? Why? Was I burned? It feels... soft. Certainly still is tender, and this bleeding is not good. I need to wrap this up quickly. Just wanted to make sure it was OK, that there were no bumps or lumps, and no floods of blood.

the total size is one foot square a good portion of the stomach area it had no hair on it and of the reaming hair on your torso some seemed to be caught in the joining of the new skin. a quick glance to the body rouses suspicion.

What the hell...?
It's not a particularly good piece of surgery, is it? I shouldn't be picking at it, but those hairs stuck in the seams don't look good... Ouch. Oouch!
This skin , though... again, why? Does it have anything to with that woman? 'Michelle'? If I killed her, did it have anything to do with this? Again, I can only wonder how she died.
