Brian looked at the shuddering doors, "What do you think," he whispered.

“I’ll tell you what I think” answered Sage her voice becoming sterner with every word “I think that you know a little more than your telling us” pointing towards Tristan “What’s behind those doors” she asked pointedly

you can see the mist is flowing down the corridor to your left. most likely by a source that vents air.

also can see the direction of the mist and at the double doors a pool of blood growing bigger.
also glancing behind the water has risen to the top of the first step.

what kind of door knobs or handles are there, I might want to stick my gun rifle barrel through if I can to stop a door from opening.

"We have to look, Sage stand guard here if you like but Tristan and I will go in, if you yell I will be out here faster than, well fast." Brian declared as he made his way to the door. He pushed it with the pick handle while holding the rifle barrel out ready to swing like a club.

Her distrust of Tristan was growing by the second why is he so quick to want to investigate the source of the blood, was he leading Brian into a trap, perhaps a bargaining chip for his own safety? She wondered as she stood helpless watching one of the last people she had a connection with walk in to the unknown. She had already lost Michelle she couldn’t bare it if she lost Brian too.
