The house stood seemingly hunched on a slight rise above the old graveyard. The graves seemed mainly overgrown and uncared for.
The house had metal shutters over the windows, paint peeling from every surface.
The area was silent, no sounds of animals or cars reached the place.

I drive past it once, taking everything in, then drive back and park at the beginning of the graveyard, and wait for Slade.

Aaron pulled up on the same curb as the night before, a couple of houses down from the one they were here to see. Waiting for Jez to get off the bike, he then dismounted himself, adjusted the belt from which hung a silver rapier and scabbard that had once belonged to Mina Thompson, before Lucifer had taken her head. In a strap from his shoulder hung a lever action shotgun. Aaron's large and bulky coat went a long way to conceal both weapons.
"When I was here last night," he told Jessie as the started towards the old house, "I felt someone - or something - watching me. I hope it was just a restless soul on the cemetary over there, but I really couldn't tell. So, keep your feelers out..." Then he noticed the large military vehicle and groaned: "That's nice and inconspicuous..."

“So this is” Analise paused searching for the right term “nice” she added sarcastically as she scanned the dilapidated scene. Nudging Alexander in the ribs “Looks like we have company” she noted

Alucard grunted in agreement and opened the door of the humvee, stepping out and closing it as quietly as he could manage whilst still insuring that it closed properly. He moved silently over to where Aaron and the woman were, his hand touching the handle of the rapier that he had taken from Alexander's, with any luck it would not need to be used too much.

The house continues to loom large in the darkness, everyone gets that creepy feeling of being watched.
"This place gives me the willies, " says jez shivering a little in the still air, but starting to stalk silently towards the place.

Alexander gets out of the humvee, and walks over to Aaron.
"Are we ready? I want to get this done as soon as we can. This place feels....restless..."

"Sure," Aaron said, determination set on his face; "let's do this thing." He then followed Jessie, who was already moving towards the house.

Analise true to form fiddled with the armour that she had taken, trying to adjust the item to fit her curves in a more appealing away as if she had forgotten the purpose of the black one- piece. As she followed she whispered “So do we know anything about this place?” looking as again at its ramshackle exterior “Other than it needs a team of interior designers”

"This used to be the house of the groundskeeper of the graveyard, but when the ground became full the job was moved elsewhere. It has been a crack house and a squat amongst other things," replied Jez quietly in answer to Analises question. She turned and asked, "Want me to open up for you?" pulling out a small packet of lockpicks

"I'd be much obliged, m'lady of the Locks." Aaron said with a smile. Then a though hit him: "I take it the locks are new additions? The thing about squats and crackhouses, is that it is often the 'lack of lock' that makes a house attractive in the first place. So, can we assume that the Doctor had these put in? Or did the city council provide them when they decided to finally 'crack down' on the crackhouse?"

Alexander puts the desert eagle in a holster on his belt, the knife on his belt in the back, and his rapier on the other hip, and carries the shotgun, making sure its loaded.
"Lets assume so, and be ready for anything."
"In fact, how about we have a diversion? Do we want them to come out to us, or should i send us up there without us going anywhere?"

“Well our approach hasn’t been what you could call stealthy” noted Analise as she used her thumb to indicate the hummer “I think you can safely assume we have lost the element of surprise. The only option is for us to go in….carefully”

"Let's just go in; if it gets ugly, maybe you can have some 'canine friends' come with us, hopefully giving the baddies something to concentrate their fire on?" Aaron suggested, keeping a close eye on Jessie's lock-opening technique.

"Well, i dont know, while the element of surprise may be gone, we can still surprise them. If you want i can make them think the house is on fire and have them run screaming out into our open arms. Or i can make them think we drove off, then watch and see what happens then. One can always take the element of surprise back after its lost, you just have to do something unexpected."
