"Only that it is led by a man named Ned, that they have some powerful new friends and gear, and a powerful mage. Thats all i know thus far. And that they wanted that man dead for some reason, i believe its cause he knew who they were."

"so we start with almost no lead ...... lets talk this in private" says Izan going to his room at the tavern

"I ain't paying for another room. And I ain't going to chat over the fact we have no leads in your stuffy little room. Let's just head out and look for our own leads. Meet back here when the sun is highest." He replies quite firmly.

Mark heads off into the city, taking 20 on Gather Information.

Feeling almost insulted by what he said Izan proceeds to work by himself.

Also taking a 20 on his gather information check.

Not gonna allow you to take 20 on this your gonna have to roll. Every gold you spend in bride give you +1 on the check.

You both discover that the Flounder Pounder Tavern in the poorest part of town is a front for the assassin's guild.

Izan makes his way towards the Flounder Pounder tavern

Keeping a low profile and his cloak covering him, he too made his way to the Tavern not expecting to see the others there.

You both arrive in front of the Tavern at the same time. (You both left the same place, both made a gather information and both went to the same place so yeah...)

Mark nudges Izan and moves to the side of the door, "Seems I misunderestimated you. Let's watch each other's backs in here, no doubt it'll be full of low lifes."

If Izan has no quarrel, Mark will enter the tavern.
