You leave the temple of Kord a little disappointed in the others for their lack of judgment, but it was their decision you would have to do this by yourselves. The cave is located several hours walk from the town of Saltmarsh to the north-west.

You arrive at the area were the golden band is said to have disappeared. Leory guides you to were the band was and you find the entrance to the cave they went into. The entrance is opened and there are no signs of spiders. You are around 100 feet from the entrance at the moment.

I should not that this is not a natural cavern or if it was it was worked by humanoid. It has a stone door at the entrance and stone stairs leading down.

Yeah that's what I meant whit the entrance is opened.

When you approach whiting 60 feet of the entrance you hear a strange sound and you notice thousand of spiders moving to surround the group they seem to be herding you moving to force you into the cave.

Its six spider swarms (As whit the spell summon swarm cast six times) so there small or diminutive not sure. As for what they do if you dont move you can find out if you dont move. lol

But they are moving forward in a threatening manner.

The spiders do not follow you down and the entrance closes behind you by itself and is impossible to open from the inside.

Down the narrow staircase, the stale air feels thick and humid. Etched into the walls are ancient designs muted by time. A coat of heavy dust covers the floor. Once at the bottom of the stairs a passage leads away to the north.

Listen check dc 10 to hear a strange chuckling sound, followed by a loud hissing, coming from the room up ahead.

If someone can see in the dark or uses a source of light you can see footprints in the dust that seem to match those of the golden band.

Conditions Inside**
Unless otherwise mentioned, the walls throughout this cavern complex are plaster-coated worked stone. There are no doors into the various chambers, just doorways. The floors are worked stone and fairly smooth and level, though covered with dust and there is no source of light down here.

You go on a little bit and you arrive at an intersection. There is passage going east and a passage going north. The sound is coming from the east but the footprints of the golden band go north.
