The rain pelts down around you as you make your way down the main street of Barrowdale, most sane people would no doubt be huddled indoors or around the fire at the inn. But not you, you distinctly being informed that waiting here in the middle of the open square would be to your advantage.

Fieri was completely huddled in her heavy cloak. Thank the Gods for this coat! I'm glad I took it off that little weasel's hands.. she thought to herself, as the materiel kept most of the water out. She hated getting drenched. It made her feel.. weakened. Her rapier and shortbow were both kept dry as well. How bloody long do I have to stand here in this cursed rain? she thought. Whenever a droplet happened to touch her bare skin, a soft sizzle could be heard. A very faint wave of smoke kept a constant flow out from the hood that covered her head as she tried to keep her body temperature up. She grumbled to herself and once again checked up and down the street.

Demor was up against a sturdy wall out in the rain. The roofs overhanging protecting him from the wet. His feet were beginning to get very cold but his cloak kept him a little warm. His eyes buzzed up and down the street. Nothing, this damn rain hide everything. He smiled. Meant he must be hidden as well. Slinking back, he tried to keep out of sight. he would wait until the time came but we would make sure HE was the first to see them.

The moon seemed to disappear for a moment before reappearing as the form of a large avian humanoid neared the ground. Sabin Sunstriker looked around warily while wishing to return to flight as soon as possible. The garuda had been born and raised in a desert caravan. Why does it have to be raining?

Luke's fur started to stick and smell, "Blast I will start to smell like a wet dog," he said as he continued to walk into the square. He looked around as he held his hands near his sais. He smiled as he saw the others as wet as him.

You all notice a large figure standing in the middle of the sqaure, it stands aproximatly 9ft tall and is wearing a large set of robes which obscure his features.
The figure standing before you is a powerfully built lizardfolk, it has greyish-black scales speckled with plotches of white, it notices you and waves.

Luke walks over to the Lizardfolk, "I am Luke, I was sent out into this world to help others, how may I assist you brother?"

The lizard man speaks with a deep, bass rumble, "Ihstan, what for Ishtan?". He appears to be in a state of utter panic.

Demor watched from a distances as a lizard man appeared in the center of the square. A Lupine joined him shortly after. After an introduction the lizard man had said, "Ihstan, what for Ishtan?" What had he meant? Who was Ishtan? Maybe it was a place. Demor continued to stay hidden for a while so he could gain some more information from the group before revealing himself!

The lizardman clearly has no grap of the Common language, he continues repeating his phrase while growing more and more agitated.
After several minutes of this he begins shouting his question in a dialect of Draconic you are told is shared by many local Lizardfolk and in fact is spoken by several of the villagers, speaking of villagers you notice several membersof the local militia are starting to draw in. None of them seem particularilary keen to approach within striking distance. Upon noticing the millitia the lizardfolk draws a small flintlock pistol from within his robes, you notice it has four barrels rigged to turn upon the pull of a small lever.

Fieri left her spot under a roof to walk to the center of the road. "Calm down. What are you babbling?" she spoke in Draconic as she talked to the lizardfolk. She kept her hood up to keep the rain out, smoke still wafting out.

As soon as he hears the Draconic words he halts, he focuses all his attentions on Fieri. "What happened to Ishtan?" He asks.

"I don't know who Ishtan is. Are you the one that I was supposed to meet here? Where did you last see this Ishtan?" She kept an eye on the pistol he had in his hand, ready to shoot a fireball from her fingertips if he made the wrong move.

He rumbles "Isthan is my chieftan, I last saw him three days ago. He went to ask for assistance, he claimed to know a place where there may be someone who will be able to help us. I fear he was too slow or they finally caught up with him"

She frowned inside her hood as she listened to him talk. At least he seemed to be calming down a little bit. "I don't understand. Am I here to meet you and help you? And who are They?"
