[Mercenary_Leader]

Lyn, Maya, Enestar, Benji and Sandoval were heading towards the hangar bay were they are going to meet whit one of Maya's contacts, a pilot whit a fast ship that can take them to Alderaan.

Using one of the less used passages there is nobody else around at the moment but every 20 feet or so there is a television screen showing the news. A report about a terrorist attack on an imperial patrol at the promenade (AKA when Jackson and Enestar starting shooting at imperials who were about to kill a defenseless woman.) Most of it is fabricated lies of course but the last part could be a treat. Three pictures appear one of Maya, one of Enestar and one of Jackson along whit the words: Wanted rewards offered.

Enestar gets a bad feeling all of a sudden and Lyn shouts ''Nooo'' and tries to draw her lightsaber but she is too slow and a blaster bolt hits her in the side of the head. She falls to the ground dropping her lightsaber...

After shooting Lyn, Benji grabs Maya and pulls her back holding her in between you. ''That the problem whit mercenaries isn't it? They always go to the one that pays better and right now that's the empire. I couldn't risk letting the Jedi live cause you never know what kind of trick she could have used but I dont want to kill you if I dont have to. So beat it so I can collect my bounty of 10 000 credits. While I'd rather collect yours too Enestar I'l settle for this much this time as it would be too hard to take you alive and not worth the trouble to kill you for just 1000 credits.'' he says pointing his blaster at Enestar and Sandoval while slowly backing up.

Enestar was almost shocked. Then again, Benji WAS a mercenary. That was why he had stayed behind, that tiny flicker of suspicion? Enestar quickly thought through his options even as Lyn fell to the ground. An unpleasant loss... But she HAD been a Jedi, so whatever, in Enestars opinion. Tragic that Benji had targeted her first.

"Dude, don't do this. You have no idea how I get when I go angry." Enestar quirked his eyebrow slightly in a threatening manner, keeping full eye contact with Benji, his tone making up for his fairly poorly chosen words.

[ August 24, 2009, 9:52 pm ] - Arothas rolled 1d20 ± 1 and obtained 21 ( 20, ). Reason : Intimidate.

"I never told you before, but Lyn and Cross were not the only Force Sensitives in the group. Even then, I doubt any of them have studied Sith texts. Back. Down, Benji. Or you will be destroyed, with overdoses of pain. Do you know what signals are sent to the brain when all the nerves in your body are literally flooded with electricity? Not to mention the horrible burning, your skin fried to crisps. You'll scream, Benji. They all do, before the end." Well, he was KINDA bluffing... But then again, he was fairly certain that it was how everything happened.

Woot? My first roll is a natural 20? (Excluding HP dice, but whatever) Surely Salroth itself is happy at my return!

The merc hesitates for a moment obviously caught of guard. ''You bluffing....There's no way someone like that would go around helping the rebellion and helping helpless girls.''

Sandoval holding his blaster in Benji's direction seem as surprised at Enestar's comment as the merc...but its hard to tell what he's thinking.

''WHO ARE YOU CALLING A HELPLESS GIRL'' say Maya as she elbows him in the crotch as hard as she can and dives to the floor when he loses his grip.

Benji quickly recovers considering the blow he took and quickly makes a decision taking a shot at Enestar that's way of target he hesitates looking at Maya and finally makes a decision and turns to run.

A slight smirk touched upon Enestars face as his intimidating look faded away. There was no way he could catch Benji quickly enough before running into an Imperial patrol. On the one hand, he had fixed the current, short-term problem. On the other... He could count on another Inquisitor coming to look for him. Well, not that the last one had been actively searching for him. In the worst case, Vader might hear of what he'd said this day.

The smirk slowly faltering, he trudged over to Lyn's body, picking up her lightsaber and weighing it in his hands. He'd prefer his own, green-colored one, but it would have to suffice should he ever be dumb enough to use it. He got up the comlink from his belt, flicked it on*, and uttered a brief statement:

"If you see Benji, shoot him. He's killed Lyn. Enestar out." He shook his head and turned to the others.

"Now that that's dealt with, let's get Maya back to the ship." He took slow care to hide the lightsaber within his Spacer's Vest, and started walking ahead, before turning around.

"Also? Please don't tell the others. They'll go all 'bring down that ship! Crush that door!' Like the unknowledgeable beings they are. Hmph. I am a mere neophyte Force Adept..." And then he resumed walking towards the Hangar Bay, consciously leaving Lyn's body behind, letting the others follow him (assuming they do). They would probably be spotted somewhere along the way... But done was done, and he was certain he could trust most people around not to report them.

Sandoval bends over to Lyn ''I suspected you may have been able to use the force, there were several hints of it since we have traveled together but the part about the sith...That was a bluff I hope?'' he says getting up and helping Maya get back to her feet.

Maya is silent and just sort of stares at you saying a word of thanks to Sandoval.

Besides, do I look as if though I speak with Vader on a regular basis?* Nopes, I hope not. I do know how to throw Lightning though, but I only ever used that ability on a mynock. By accident, by the way. It was trying to eat my ship, at the time." Enestar glanced backwards.

"I am sorry if my display scared either of you. I do that, sometimes. Rarely. Hm. But there is one thing you SHALL not doubt. I am against the Emperor. No matter what, I will not betray the alliance, like that scum mercenary did. I am against the Empire; I am for Democracy, even as corrupt as the Senate used to be before the war.

No, I am not Sith. I shall never be, and I shall strive to slay Vader and his Emperor with every breath. Besides, it's easier to earn a profit by honest smuggling in a Republic, despite what you might believe. There's always a Senator out to earn some extra money for just alleviating the Security Forces of his planet..." Enestar started to ramble away, voice going on.

"But never mind, we have a ship to catch, do we not? Let's go."

*It is not well known that the Emperor is, in fact, a Sith Lord. The inquisitors know, Vader knows, not many others.

''He can actually shoot lightning....'' muttered Maya as she followed as well.

"No, it does not feel right, Sandoval. I hope she will understand, wherever she is now. We could cremate her there and then if we had the proper tools, as was the customs of ancient Monarchs and certain sects within the Jedi Order. But we don't have those tools, unless your R2 has unexpected tools in his repertoire?" Enestar shook his head. He honestly felt sad about leaving Lyn's body behind.

"You have to understand, if we could bring her with us, we would. As it is, I'll have to deliver a message to her master if she is where she said she'd be after the whole mess with the Imperials was over. Shumari, I think the place was. Once there I should be able to locate her and deliver Lyn's lightsaber. It's the least I can do." Enestar sighed, but never stopped walking.

''I guess your right...Shumari...I've never heard of that place before have you? I wonder why a jedi master would run there when an imperial fleet was chasing after her. She might not be there anymore seeing as that was the case, especially whit that message that said Vader was on one of them. She lured them away so we could escape.'' says Sandoval

Maya listen to the story whit interest ''A guy that claims he can shoot lightning but that he's not a jedi or a sith...A jedi master....Vader and she was a jedi apprentice...Who exactly are you guy? I though you were just a bunch of rebel soldiers sent to fix the mission I failed but I'm not so sure anymore...'' she says

Enestar would have tapped his feet against the ground nervously, save for the fact that he was walking at a brisk pace.

"It is simpler than it sounds. We'd completed a random Rebel mission when we got pulled out of hyperspace by an Interdictor Cruiser. We had to disable the Interdiction device, but we discovered a Jedi Master had been imprisoned on board. Then we simply bumped into Lyn. The Master was imprisoned on direct order of Vader himself, it's all that simple, really.

As to my Force-sensitivity, it is a complete coincident. I am a smuggler, and due to my sensitivity I got in trouble with an Inquisitor. Although that was more by the fact that I just about bumped into him. And then there were the smuggling charges. Let's just say it's a whole, giant coincidence which I have trouble believing in myself, and be done with it? The others are fairly typical Rebel soldiers, albeit skilled ones."

You continue on down the passage and are arriving close to the hangar bay when a 3PO-series protocol droid comes from the other direction. He stops and says ''Oh mistress Maya! Captain Okeefe has sent me to find you and give you some most distressing news. The imperials have come to the hangar bay in strenght, a full squad of twenty stormtroopers and seized his ship for smuggling! The charges are quite true I'm afraid and there are quite a few illegal products on board at the moment....He is currently hiding in the hangar and you can contact him whit your comm devices on frequency 177-824-225''

Enestar stopped as the 3P0-droid suddenly came out of nowhere and delivered the bad news. Then he whirled around and spoke.

"Well, Maya, please do contact him."

I asked a small question in the OOC thread which could've changed this dialog a little... But nevermind that now, this has been delayed too much.

Enestar sighed beneath his breath, before getting his comlink from his belt and handing it to Maya.

"Here, borrow mine, then." He said.

''Alright'' she takes it and contacts the frequency the droid gave them. ''Captain Okeefe?'' she says

''Maya! Glad to hear your alright. Listen I dont know whats going on but it seems lady luck might be on our side afterall. Almost every trooper in the hangar bay except for two are running of towards the cargo bay so if you and your rebel friends can get the hangar doors open I can take them out, retrieve my ship, pick you up and we can be out of here before the imperials can do anything about it.''

''The cargo bay? That's horrible! That's were most of us are right now! There's a precious box there that we need to retrieve.'' she answers

''Oh........New plan, its gonna take those troopers a while to get there so in the meantime you and whatever friends you have whit you need to get the doors to the hangar bay and the cargo bay open and then get to the cargo bay. I'l take my ship back and pick up all of you in the cargo bay but you better be ready! You have maybe a minute before those troopers get there. There will be a few guards can you handle that?'' says the captain

''I think so...'' answers Maya ''What do you think Enestar? Sandoval?'' she asks

''Its gonna be close but I think it might work...'' answers Sandoval
