We will use this thread as a place for us to chat about your characters and which way you want to level them. This way we can all be involved and help each other out.

For now we can use it to discuss who will play what class. Then we can use it for when each of you level up and to drop questions if you have any.

So far Oloth will be our magic user, Wizard and I'm pretty sure he will be using the Magicians Apprentice background.
Gryff will be our Weapon Master.

Other possible classes are - Academician, Beserker, Fighter, Jack-of-all-Trades, Noble, Ranger, Scout, Thief and Zealot.

If you don't have the book let me know and I can help you get a hold of it.

In regards to stats, use 18, 16, 14, 12, 12, 10.

As per Anguish, we get a total of two feats to start off with, one comes from your background and the other one you pick. Some classes such as fighter or weapon master also grant bonus feats at first level so check your class.

Just so you are all aware, knowing someone's real name means you have power over them.

So, send me your real name and also the name you go by.

For instance people in the books go by Croaker, One-Eye, Goblin, Blade etc..


I will also need your characters background. I would like some flaws and plot hooks I can work with.
You will all be starting out by yourselves so the quicker I get your sheets and background the quicker you can start the game and start earning loot, xp, reputation etc = )

I'm also quite sure what my call-name will be, hehehe... Strider, maybe? Anyways, I'll start work on the character now.

I'm thinking up the story now and how each of you will be introduced into the game.

I'll be having another read over the book and see if I'm going to be adding any of the variant rules.

Sorry, sorry, I'm just being my usual, lazy, self. And my creativity has gone into a drop... Ah, my Ranger's (whom is called Strider) background thus far includes some estranged moderately powerful family of nobles up north, but little else. I have a sense that I'm ripping off something from somewhere, but in that case I can't find it. Meh. I mean, other than the Strider part.

Also Oloth, having trouble trying to think of a good way to bring you into the game. Doing my best to think up a good scenario = )

strider was the name Aragorn used when he met frodo in fellowship of the ring and the name he used most of the way through the story, until he gained his crown in gondor.

It was more the Ranger who was estranged from his noble family up north. It just felt like I was ripping something off. Meh.

Anyways, I'll probably be using the Hunter background, because that's more prevalent in Strider's background than his nobledomness. He'll also have Archery as his Combat style. I've actually started on the character (finally!) and will have him over to you soon enough.

... Now I have to start work on my Heart of Juliana character, though. Gah!
