''Now that I think about it I have a special task that would require someone of your talent Lumi. Your ability to change shapes would make you a perfect scout. I will arrange for someone else to accompany these three to meet the elves." says Mylor

"I am ready to leave when the rest of you are. How have you faired with the drow thus far?" Says Valas, while he waits to hear what he is going to do next.

"I've yet to meet them in battle. They seem to be expending their minions while they see to other matters." Mark responds to Valas. "I suppose a strike force to assist the elves is a wise move. The undead remaining in the city should be easy to dispatch for the warriors here." He scratches his forehead and takes another puff on his pipe. It seems lucky that the drow didn't burn all the boats in the harbor. We should take advantage of this and leave immediately, the drow may be too fierce for the elves to handle. That is of course...after I recieve my wages."

"Come I am ready to extract my vengence on those cowards, " Zudd yells, pacing the floor like a caged wolf.

"I'm sure you will get revenge my friend" a thick bass voice calls out if you look you would see a Dwarf in full plate armor that glowed with soft golden light whenever the smallest piece of light fell upon it, across the breastplate the symbol of Moradin was emblazoned, the helmet was of the same make as the rest of the armor and had yet another symbol of Moradin sett on the forehead, across the dwarf's back was strapped a large shield and an even larger dwarven war-axe.

Mark looked up and smiled, both in surprise and in excitement. It had been a long time since he'd seen a dwarf ready for battle and this one looked spectacular. He took his pipe into one hand before speaking, "Could it be that a dwarf is going to the aid of elves?" His voice curious and slightly disbelieving. That armor, that weapon. The warlock wondered if this gleaming warrior was one of those holy warriors he often heard of, sometimes saw in conflicts far afield. Having often found himself in a motley crue of mercenaries, those selfless few that fought only for good were almost never heard of. Mark didn't really understand how they did it, though he give them the respect they deserved if they ever crossed his path. Never a dwarf though, that was even more interesting. He knew of the tight communities they had and the selflessness they had for their own kind. The fact this one had stepped out in order to fight for others, no matter what race, that was something amazing. Though, his mind could just be running away in imagination. This dwarf's appearance may be decieving, he could just as easily have killed whoever used to wear that armor rather than be this deus ex machina Mark was quickly building him up to be.

Mylor looks at the dwarf ''You look like you can handle yourself rather well and it just so happens I was looking for more volunteers to join an expedition to Oak island just of the coast to go check on the elves who we believe are in great danger. The drow have shifted their focused more towards them and less towards us for now. Perhaps you would like to join them? Most of the fighting is going to be happening there until our reinforcements arrives tomorrow.'' says Mylor looking at the dwarf
''As for when you leave you can decided that for yourselves I would suggest rest first, you all must be getting tired.'' says Mylor looking at Zudd (You've all been up and fighting almost non-stop for like 15-16 hours now and its pretty late at night at the moment. In fact if you go now you will all be taking penalties for being fatigued.)
Mylor gets up ''I have a few other adventurers in mind that may be interested in going as well, I will go asks them and return shortly.'' he says walking away slowly smoking his pipe.

However surprising it may be my rune-marked friend the Great-King of the mountains has deemed it necessary to aid the elves in their time of need, to that end he has dispatched myself an some two-dozen of my bretheren; my name is Drost, Paladin of Moradin the Soul Forger.

''Of course, it will be some time before they leave you should have plenty of time to do so.'' says the wizard as he heads towards the main entrance of the church to leave.

Mark rubs his face after Mylor speaks, he was pretty tired. "No. There isn't time for rest, I'll sleep enough when I'm dead. We will be leaving right away, sleep on the boat if you must." He replied from his seat quite decisively. It didn't seem like he was getting paid for rescuing what remained of the adventurers in the maze, he'd rather not hang around.
He finished his pipe quickly, tapping out the ash before returning it to his pack. "I have all my kit with me, I'll just need some more rations for the journey." Mark rubbed some dried mud from the side of his eye, he was filthy. He was covered in dirt, blood and dried sweat. It's not like he wanted to smell good for anyone, so he didn't care. The most important thing to him right now was making real headway in this battle.

''Very well then, good dwarf go talk to your captain. It seems we are in more of hurry than I thought. I will return shortly, I have some matters to attend to before you leave so don't go anywhere until I return.'' says Mylor as he leaves the church.
Outside Mylor walks up to a grey elf ''It seems they are eager to leave now, I want you to go whit them and help the elves. I think you'll get along just fine whit this bunch except maybe the dwarf if he comes along but I think his strength will prove useful as well. I have a few other preparations to see to at the moment so I will talk to you again in a moment, for now you should go in and meet them.'' he says

It seemed he had a little time to recuperate before they left, so he dropped his pack and started removing his equipment. He began looking for some water to clean himself up now he had a chance.

" Sure thing. Its the least I can do after your assistance with my skills and focuses. I'll try and teach them that sometimes a dagger in the kings back is better than breaking down his doors and fighting their way through the guards. I hope that I can put your tutelage to good use. "
Jivalen bids farewell to his occasional tutor and long term friend, and enters into the hall.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The elf that enters into the hall to meet his new companions just about fails to meet the five foot mark. Around his head he wears a band of gold, a single garnet encrusted in it upon his forehead, holding back a lock of silvery hair that isn't in his long ponytail. As your gaze travels down to his face, two things immediately strike you. First that his skin is a dark grey, not quite like that of a drow, but certainly it could be possibly that he is halfbreed, and that his eyes seem not to have an iris, instead he seems to have pupils that take up almost his entire eyes.
Around his neck he bears a amulet on a silver chain, supporting what seems to be a chunk of polished iron. His cloak is dark in colour, but obviously of a superior make, and if one looks closely they can see the cloaks trimming seems to change subtly with the light upon it. The chain shirt upon his chest isn't polished very well, but that could be because polished metal tends to gleam, whereas his armour refuses to shine in the light.
As he raises his hand in greeting, you see that it is covered by a leather glove, and that his movements seem elegant and thoughtful. No stray gestures, no clumsy movement betrays itself. Upon his left index finger is an unadorned ring seemingly made out of mithral. His trousers are those you would expect to find on a well travelled bard, and his boots much the same.
" I hear from my friend Mylor that you need someone who doesn't start the day by blowing things up and kicking down doors. If you need something done with a word and a gesture, them I am your elf. he says with a deep bow. " I am Jivalen the traveller, at your service. " he straitens up again, and looks at sideways. " And may the darkness conceal us, I hope that I can teach you how not to stand out like nobles at the country fair. "

Zudd suddenly realizing how tired he is, moves to his room, "Come get me, when everyone is ready, and I will come," he says moving like an old man.

Drost turned as the wizard left and with great dignity - well, as much as you can muster as a stubby dwarf in clanking full-plate - hurried over to the door of the inner sanctum where his superiors chatted., once there he knocked twice, wiped his sweating brow and stood to rigid attention.
'I hope to blessed Moradin they let me go with that wizardly fellow, that mission sounds like it could be important' wasone of his only thoughts.
