''I think I have just the thing'' says Mylor and he cast a spell into the blade, it sparkles and shimmers whit electricity that dies down after a moment.
''A bolt of lightning'' he explains ''when you strike will the power free and a powerful lightning bolt will strike your target as well as any standing behind him. Use it wisely it is very powerful and should one of your allies be behind your foes...'' he lets the warning drop there.
"Now head south towards the shipyard and look for a boat. There should still be some. Be careful a few small groups of undead made across the main bridge before we could secure it. Most of them have been taken care of but some could still linger.'' says Mylor

Mark nods and heads out, leading the way down towards the docks. The undead didn't bother him, he'd dispatched a decent number in the battles before. He figured he'd just ignore them and concentrate on getting a boat ready.

You do down towards the docks, you see small patrols here and there but most of the military is gathered at the bridges or at the temples. The shipwrights are only a little further down and you haven't seen anything that looks hostile so far.

Mark continues on, swapping his lightning bolt imbued longsword for Valas' gloves on the way.

Standing close to the patrol by the shipwright a tall, thin man stands. His hair a pale white as well as his skin to match, eyes of red covered slightly by the curls of his hair. He's clearly spotted the others approach. "Ghouls approach from the water" He brushes the robe down slightly.

Jivalen takes a moment to speak to all his allies, and those nearby who may be fighting. ~ I am going to make it seem as though a cloud of darkness as descended upon them. Trust not your senses for it shall shall be your mind that is clouded. If your will is strong enough, you shall see my illusion for what it is. Tell me after I have cast it weather or not it hinders you, and I shall attempt to make it so that it doth not obscure targets from your blades. ~

Drost immediately became alert when the man mentioned ghouls, carefully he took a hand from the reins of his mount to draw his battle-axe and raised it high above his head, in a sonorous voice he began a prayer to Moradin casting a spell to bless the weapon.

Mark shakes his head [aces forward, he found himself much more intrigued by this albino man by the docks. He pats the wolverine lightly as he walks past, addressing Jivalen primarily, "Cast what you must, I am not hindered by the dark. Form up on me if we meet resistance, it could be the patrols have just dumped bodies into the water."
He strolls up to this new individual, taking a look past him towards the docks as he spoke. "So, I assume you've been controlling the undead in this area? It would explain your indifference to their bestial nature. Are you not with a patrol?" Mark asks, assuming this stranger is simply part of the war effort. He is completely unaware of how close to the truth his words actually are if they were to be taken literally. Unfortunately his own prejudgments of this person remain incorrect.

"Not a patrol, just...research is all. I'm rather interested in what it is thats managed to control such a large group. You should probably help the guards, who knows how many there are..." The man looks relatively sickly, but stands with an aura about him.

Zudd prepared himself to meet the ghouls that the stranger had mentioned, how the stranger knew for certain was unusual in itself and the pale one would need to be watched.

"We will help if the guards are in over their heads, but they are more than capable of handling themselves. Now, excuse us my strange-skinned friend, we are in a hurry." Mark speaks in a polite tone, bowing his head a little before departing to continue his route down to the docks. The undead would probably be kept in check by the guard patrols, he'd seen and assisted in dispatching plenty of ghouls in the battle for the bridges, so he wasn't deterred by the rumor that they were in the water. He reasoned that they had simply wandered off the walk into the sea.
Undead really aren't the smartest of beasts...that must be why they seek your brains...

You march down and come into sigh of a single soldier facing a single ghoul in the street. The soldiers looks like he has a hard time breathing properly but he seems focuses. The ghoul charges and the soldiers counters attacking as well. He drives his blade into the monsters belly receiving only a small scratch on the arm from the ghoul's claw. It looks like he won...The ghoul backs up seeming unbothered by the hole in its gut. The soldier on the other is completely still like a statue and makes no move to defend himself when it moves in and bites his throat.

The sight of the creature bitting into the man's throat does seemingly nothing to the pale man as he raises his hands and starts to mutter an incantation focusing on the undead.
