Oloth, your currently standing before the door Gryff is behind. The boat will take three days to reach Chimney. For now get to know each other and the rest of the crew. Spend some time doing what ever you like. Sparring, reading, smoking ( ) that sort of thing.

We need time for Arothas to catch up, while Arrow will join in later with any other players

Main thing i'll be doing, is reading and looking through some of the books i "borrowed" from the library.


Crow opens the door and sees a man in a hammock and a bucket next to him. He just looks at him, staring curiously then sets his stuff in a chest and heads up on the deck so as to not disturb the sick man and watches the sailors as they work, and glances through his book quite often.

Serpent eyed the book worm with curiosity, I will have to see about that one later, must be more to him than just a book seller, he thought to himself. He then fell asleep, waking up about four hours later.

After a much needed nap, Serpent grabbed his weapons and made way to the open deck. "Mind if I work out," he called out to the men working the sails. He bent at the waist and started to touch his toes, he then started to slowly work out the kinks in his muscles. He picked up his Kukri and started to slice the air with it, then quickly with two short jabs. This continued for about 30 minutes until he worked up a sweat and then went and picked up the falchion, holding it in two hands. He went through the same basic set up followed by the two quick short jabs.

"Hey Shifty, who's the book worm, he came into my room and disturbed me." Serpent yelled out when Shifty came into view.

Upon hearing someone asking about him, Crow looks up and says to the guy working out, "If your interested in who i am, just ask me, no need to bother the people who are working, which we will be soon enough."

"Ok, Bookworm, the name is Serpent and just as deadly, so what made them want you, I met Croaker and I know he can read, so what makes you so special." Serpent said with a big smile on his face as he walked closer to the new guy.

"Hmmm, well, considering i'm reading this book means i can read, and well, lets just say i have other talents, not related to the more brutal arts."

"You a scholar then, they hire you to keep the books, well just remember, Serpents the name, and I intend on making something of myself, so keep your quill ready." Serpent replied.

"Serpent huh, hmmmm, you gonna stab us in the back like snakes do? Don't worry, if you make a name for yourself, i'm sure you'll be written about somewhere."

Oloth, the book you were reading is, Toxify. A book all about poison. You can learn how to make poison that you can coat on weapons for extra damage, chance to stun, or a damage over time poison. Anyone who reads the book will learn how to create them and you can then hand out the poisons to others or even sell. You will need to find/purchase ingredients first though.

"Strike you in the back, never, I strike from the front and sides and only if you run will I strike your back, but once you decide to run, it's usually to late and your already dead. Say what is that your reading?" Serpent asked suddenly realizing the Bookworm never did give his name. "Who did you say you were?"

"It's a book i'm reading, and i may have one for you to read, if you know how too that is, and as to what it is about, it's about poison's. One more thing, we'll be sharing that room so it's not just your room, so, don't get that place all cluttered up now with all the metal junk you're wielding." Crow says smiling at the guy.

"Well bunky, we can share the room no problems, I have very little to my name, but these here little bits of metal are my life, so they go where I go." Serpent said as he sheathed his weapons and came closer to his new roommate. He held his sweaty hand out, looked at it, wiped it on his pant leg and held it out again, "I'm Serpent, nice to meet you?"
