'Bill' as he had been named sat on the doorstep of the farmhouse as he watched the sunrise over the trees. He clutched a rapidly cooling cup of coffee in one hand and took the occassional sip. He felt full of nervous energy and knew that his control on his form was starting to slip, too much chaos in the area. He glanced down at his hand and watched it flicker into the feminine and back again. They couldn't understand....mortals were never meant to understand.

He thought back to last nights meal, a hearty soup, soured slightly by the arguements and disagreements....and it was all his fault. They didn't sense the urgency, the need, the breaking down of the fabric of reality around them.........He sighed, he hoped they could do it, he liked this world and its strange cultures and beliefs.

Gracie had a good rest. The food he ate helped to replenish his energy, his body storing some for his reserves.
The group had decided to head out to the library, not everyone would be coming though. Gracie waited to see who would go. He knew Peter would, and most likely Leon. This "Bill" character as well. For some reason Bill gave Gracie shivers. There was something really wrong with him, Gracie just couldn't pick it.
Not knowing many people Gracie just stood around, waiting for the group to head out. He was ready and carried everything he would need.

Shelley had grown tired of waiting. She could tell it as getting dark, and she thought it was best that she found some place to sleep for the night. She wasn't going to wait for someone to lead her around, since she wanted to get a room with a bed that she felt comfortable in before they were all taken. Using her cane and keeping her hand against a wall to guide her, she started counting her steps as she walked through the house, knowing that she would have to get used to the layout of the farmhouse by touch and distance. She felt her hands dance lighlty across the wood and brick as she walked, taking her time so she didn't accidentally run into anything in her path. She would have to have Adam or Janet lead her around later to tell her what was where.

Peter sat up and swung his legs to the floor. Thinking back, kipping on the sofa probably wasn't the best idea in the world. Sunlight stabbed through the curtains and lanced his brain. He was awake now and there would be no rest. He coughed out a small laugh: no rest for the wicked.

He rubbed his face as if that would dislodge the tiredness that hung about him like a sad cloak. He retrieved a walking boot from under the table and shoved his foot into it. The other one wasn't far off and after doing up his laces, he stumbled off to get a drink of water and to relive himself.

Face washed and teeth cleaned - funny these rituals a person builds up - he made it into the kitchen and then outside. Bill was sat on the step and there was a waft of coffee in the air. "Morning," Peter grunted. He stepped by the man and loped over to the landrover. Pulling the door open, he collected his satchel and rucksack. The smaller bag was slight less full than he would have liked. The gas cannister was gone and Peter liked to be prepared.

Shelley could smell something. Coffee? Someone else was up then, and it let her know she was near the kitchen. Food and a warm drink sounded like a good plan for the moment, so she followed her nose, taking her time to get to the source of the wonderful smell. She felt a few things nudge against her legs as she walked, but she didn't lose her balance. She was going to have to get used to tripping and bumping into a few things until she could map out the house in her mind.

Joeb wakes slowly, stretching his arms and legs before placing his feet on the grass, he had spent the night sleeping near the bus where the children were kept, now he checks his pistol, knife and ammunition.
he had made a decision last night, if there was another outing he would need to be part of it there were parts and tools out there he could use, he started heading back to the farmhouse to pick up his mechanical & electronic tool sets from their hiding place.

Bill smiled at the 'warrior' from foreign climes, he knew he made the man uneasy. Bill couldn't help it, his very essence was being attacked now constantly and sometimes, he knew, the godess acted through him. "You are up early, eager to go are we?" he asked Gracie. As Peter pushed his way past him, Bills smile grew as the feminine form sniggered in his mind. Poor firework man so confused.... "Good morning Peter, getting prepared for our journey?". Bill wondered whether any of them would have the courage to turn the final key to lock Chaos from the world....he would see soon enough. The thought made him lose the smile and quiet his internal sister.

"You know what it's like," Peter rumbled. "Once you're up that's it. There ain't any point napping. Not when there's stuff to sort out." He caught sight of Bill's full lips and a memory played back in his head. "F***s sake," Peter muttered to himself and looked away. Anger smouldered within him - partly at himself and also at 'Bill' for somehow tricking him. "I take it you do sleep."

The kitchen seemed very quiet when Shelley reached it. She didn't remember where everything was, so she was going to need help to find a chair. "Hello? Anyone in here?" She took a step into the kitchen, flicking out her cane to help guide her.

Joeb reached the bck of the house and moved aside a board, inside were two boxes, one a mechanical tool set the other an electronic one, after a moment of thought he pulled out the mechanical set and hefted it in his arms before moving towards the jeep.

As he passed the kitchen window he heard that little girl from earlier inside, 'I should probably say sorry for embarrassing her earlier' he thought.

Stepping into the kitchen he watched her for a second before speaking, "are you ok there?"

Shelley was startled a little bit when she heard the man call out to her. She looked to where she thought the voice came from, her grey eyes not quite staring at Joeb. She didn't recognize his voice right off, he must have been one of the new people she hadn't travelled with. "Um, I think I'm okay. I was just looking for anyone else that was awake. I haven't gotten used to this place yet, so I'm still mapping it out in my mind."

"That's good to know little one... in point of fact I was coming in here to apologize, for what I said last night because I fear I may have embarrassed you" Joeb was hesitant when he saw Shelley's eyes, thinking 'she must be blind, my word...'

"It's alright, I shouldn't have snapped like that. I'm just....a little worried is all." Shelley wasn't ready to tell anyone that her father had abandoned her the first chance he could. Maybe she would tell Janet or Adam later, when she was ready. But for now, this stranger was exactly that, a stranger to her.

"Well i hope we can put this behind us" Joeb placed the heavy tool-box on the table with a clunk and began moving about the kitchen looking for anything that could be described as breakfast.

Shelley jumped at the unexpected clunking sound. "As long as that wasn't breakfast I just heard, I'd love something to eat." She had skipped dinner last night, and a good breakfast was just what she needed. "Where is the nearest chair? I don't want to run into anything while you're cooking."
