Alyssa looked at her surroundings. A castle...and a giant man? "Well, if it were any other day I think I'd really be surprised to find myself in a strange castle with a bunch of mutants and a giant man looming over me. Today it's just the same ol' same ol'."

Oswald was speechless looking at the giant man, 'and I thought I was large' he thought, holding out his hand he finally spoke "Oswald Bucharest, Pleased to meet you."

Staring up at the giant Skylar almost laughed, "This has been a really odd day hasnt it? And coming from somebody from the circus, you know when I call something odd it really is." Looking at his surroundings he added, "so is this home for awhile or what?"

"Nay laddie, this isn't home, i will be taking you all where you will eventually learn to use you abilities to help others, some of the learning will be trial by fire of course, no pun intended there laddie, but well, that's the best way to learn your ability, that's how i learned to do what i do all those years ago." he then turns and motions for you to follow him inside.

Andrew looked at the newcomers, "Hello, I'm Andrew, pleased to meet you all," he then looked at the door and down at his new size, "Ah, will I fit through there?" he asked.

"Well hi Andrew, I'm Alyssa." She waved to him, since he was so tall. She looked at the doorway and shrugged. She didn't think the large guy was going to make it through. "Maybe if you hunch down you might be able to get in here."

"Names Skylar, and you might have to crawl I think, or if someone has a shrink ray handy." He mused. Quite the ragtag group was forming he thought.

"Och laddie, i'm sorry, i completely forgot about your condition. We'll all stay out here then and wait for him to come back, but i will have some chairs brought out and a large slab of stone for you my giant friend." The guy says as he stops and turns around after hearing the comments.

Alyssa wanted to see more of the castle, but she didn't argue. She really wanted something to keep her mind off of what had happened, but her mind just kept going back to the image of her mother's body lying at an odd angle in the fireplace of that house, her own mind arguing that it was an accident and that she shouldn't feel guilty. But her conscience kept nagging at her, making her wonder if she couldn't have stopped it somehow. If she hadn't been so scared, or so angry, would her mother still be alive?

"Well thank you, for that, I really didn't expect a chair, not sure how I'm going to live the rest of my life being instantly recognized as the giant, any openings at the circus? Well at least the students will keep their mouth shut when I tell them too, although, I guess I can't wear the color green anymore." Andrew said trying to keep a smile on his face.
"So what kind of powers do you have, I can turn invisible and fly and shoot bolts of light out of my eyes, talk to animals and can run so fast you don't even know that I have left and came back. See I just did it again. " he laughed.

"i'm sure you have some questions laddies and lasses, i will try to answer what i can while we wait, so start asking" the guy says as he lifts the black which you judge to be several tons up to take over to the giant.

Alyssa was the first to speak, a number of questions coming to mind. "Why us? And why now? There are plenty of mutants in the camps that would have needed rescuing. Why did you pick us instead?"

"Maybe we're the rescue crew." Skylar shrugged tossing out what he thought. "But I do have the same other question, why us? Surely other mutants who've had longer control of their powers would be better suited. Not that i'm complaining, more than willing to do my part here, life isnt nothin without freedom."
