[Oloth the Mad]

After a few minutes of alyssa screaming, the other 3 notice movement from him, then he stands up, completely unharmed, save for the scorched clothes and he just laughs.

"Looks like everyone has some offensive power cept me." Skylar spoke up as the guy startd laughing, "And dude, way not cool." Walking over he puts his hand on Alyssa's shoulder. "You ok?"

Alyssa was trying to stop hyperventilating. She couldn't believe the man was alive and unharmed. She thought for sure she had pulverized him when she had hit him full force. She couldn't form any words, she just sucked in air and nodded her head, relief and anger filling her at the same time.

"Come lass, i know you're scared, but you can not be afraid to use your powers, even at the risk of hurting or killing someone, and yes, you did kill me, for a brief moment, but, as you can see, i can not die. This castle has been mine for 1,000 years."

"1,000 years? How long have you been alive?" So she had killed him. And she had seen him die when she was trying to escape earlier. That really didn't make Alyssa feel any better, but she was going to have to get used to either pulling her punches or become deaf to the sound of breaking bones.

"I truly do not know that answer, i remember in rome for the first coliseum battle, i remember when the pyramids we're built, though we had no calendar's then when i was born." He answers as he goes and sits down.

Oswald looked up from the flames in his hand, clenching his fist and putting out the fire.
He walked over and spoke "I am remembering that I went to Rome once, though the co, the cololo... the big arena was old and broken, you say there were battles in there; It must of been dangerous for the crowd to sit on such a crumbling ruin such as that" the romanian looked genuinely confused.

"Nay laddie, I was one of the first gladiators to fight in it when it was new, but enough of me, we need to get you all ready, i've just been informed that he is with her, but the outcome i don't know yet."

"Wow your old, don't think i'd wanna live that long." Skylar piped up. "Who is with who? And what outcome?"

"You're that old!?!" Alyssa couldn't imagine all the things he must have seen and experienced. All of the thing she had studied in History class this man may have actually seen happen. She didn't know whether she was supposed to be intrigued by this, or if she was supposed to be frightened. Only time would tell.

Alyssa kept quiet, not wanting to think about the future. WHat future did she have? The government would find her soon, and she'd be taken to one of the camps, and who knows what they would do to her then. She was a murderer, and a mutant on top of that. What sort of death penalty did a mutant get?

Oswald had been thinking of his own past for several moments, now he slammed his hand on the wall, causing it to crack and dust to fall.

he roared "enough of talking of the past, today is the day for thinking of the future and how we can change it!" he had a dark expression on his face - he hated the past.

"Easy Oswald. Calm down. I don't see the castle falling down on our heads as a good way to start our new lives." Alyssa didn't doubt that if the large man was enraged enough he could do some serious damage to the castle, and to them. "You're right, the past is gone, and it's up to us to amke our own futures now."

Oswald took a deep breath then breathed out slowly through his nostrils - sending out a thin cloud of smoke by doing so - then he spoke "I am sorry little one, I should keep control of myself but - he paused and closed his eyes - I do not like to be reminded of what I had to leave behind" he turned in his chair and put his hands on the back of his head, muttering small unintelligible phrases in a language that sounded like Russian.
