Alice gave the woman's hand a quick shake and gave her the best smile she could manage. "Well, remember the offer still stands alright?" She climbed into the truck, waving the other woman in. Starting it up, she told the big lug she called a partner to move over so the woman could be comfortable as well. "Keep your eyes peeled, and try not to shoot anyone that might be on our employer's payroll alright?"

Karen accepted the offer of the lift, the short distance to their temporary camp. She felt a little uncomfortable, as if she was somehow...in the way? But she bit her tongue, the assignment was only a short one afterall. A quick rescue mission and she'd be back in Cairo sipping iced coffee by the hotel pool...

Alice kept a fair distance between the truck she was driving and the one in front of her. If they ran into any problems, she wanted to be able to back up and beat a hasty retreat. "Don't worry about anything, Brutus is an excellent shot." She could tell the woman was a bit nervous. She didn't blame her, this was a bit strange. "Besides, he makes a great shield."

Alice let a genuine smile cross her face. "He's also good for shade when it gets hot. Just stand behind the big doofus and you'll be nice and cool." She kept her eyes on the road and kept an eye on the truck in front of her. Where was this other team?

You drive to the closest building and the entrance is quite large. Large enough for oyu to drive in in fact. Inside is a wide open space and clay jars are staked everywhere many broken but dozens of them are intact.

Rick pulls to a stop so the other truck has room to pull up beside him then he reequips his guns that heas, and his whip then starts checking the building they're in out, gauging it's defensibilty.

The building seems to be just the one big room half full of clay jars, and there seems to be just the one entrance. Its better than outside at least.

When the vehicle stops Karen gets out and begins unpacking supplies, her thoughts are racing about the situation. Why if there were any survivors did they not come out to greet the trucks, she glances at the stone jars and a brief thought about body parts drifts through her head. She pushes that to the back of her mind.

Mr.Prince, Ben and Dr.Gordon get out and have a look around.

Ben goes and has a look in the closest jar.

"Full of lamp oil" he says

"Lamp oil? How interesting." says Prince

"Well lets get to work, these ruins are quite large and the team would have gone straight to the main building in the center. If their still there its unlikely they saw or heard us coming unless they had someone outside acting as a lookout. So well get to work turning this place into a decent camp and in the meantime the rest of you should go have a look around like we talked about before. Just dont be too long its getting windy and there could be a storm anytime now." he says turning to the group.

Jack wakes up stiffly as the vehicle hes in pulls to a stop. He gets out and stretches for a long moment, then Goes about unpacking his gear.

"Well, isnt this place a sight for sore eyes. I thought id get a ruptured disk sleeping in te back there." He chuckles to no one in particular.

Brutus motioned at Alice as he pulled his gun from its holster. "Watch my back." He said as he headed out the door and slowly began to make his way towards the main building. His eyes darted around as he moved, seeking out positions of cover if they needed them.

Alice put the car in park and turned the engine off the quietness in the building causing her to brush some of the hair from her face behind her ear. She nodded at Brutus as he got out, and she pulled her own pistol, keeping an eye out for trouble. "Karen, stay close. Don't go anywhere alone. Brutus and I will keep you safe."
