You've been traveling for two days and its been completely uneventful. Not surprising bandits and wild beast usually avoid groups of around forty armed men, Elves and Dwarves traveling through the forest.
At the current rate you'll reach the city of Four-winds tomorrow around midday (If you stop to make camp for the nigh). Then you'll be free to go about the merchant city for a few days while the baron's son does whatever it is he came here to do and then you get to escort him back to the city of Blackwall.

He slid off his helm before continuing, "We all represent our Lord, do not shame him in any way. Lead by example, Taiki's men will be renowned for their skill and professionalism." Without any encouragement his men replied in unison, "Sir!" With a nod from Nakashima they fell back into position, guarding the head of the caravan.
Naka hadn't spoken to any other members of the caravan, aside from his own men. Not through disrespect or rudeness, simply because he had remained quite introverted - focussing instead on keeping his weapon training fresh and studiously examining tactical scrolls.

Arothas trudged along with his men, shield in hand and sword loose in the sheath. Some would call him paranoid, but he considered himself cautious. His men stood in simple formation, and even though they might be tired they hid it. From the outside, they appeared like steel, even the Wizard who's name he'd forgotten again... Some northerner named Gwühir, or Gwâhur, or something strange like that.
His men were well trained, and though he commanded few of the soldiers in the caravan, their posturing would more than make up for it for any bandit scouts checking out the area. The men, two armed with longbows and another two armed with spears and heavy steel shields carrying the sign of the Golden Falcon, as well as said Wizard, who was quite obviously what he was, in heavy robes, a conical hat, and holding some sort of staff. Arothas hadn't bothered to check out if it was enchanted, really; the northerner Wizard really was the newest in his little group of well trained and thoroughly disciplined men.
They were walking along the left flank, at a moment prepared to enter a more effective fighting formation, where the two spearmen would join shields and protect the archers, standing behind them against whatever enemy they faced, and the Wizard would provide support from a safe distance. Arothas himself would simply judge the battle and join in where he was the most effective; the best possible task, considering his multiple talents. In the worst case scenario, where the right flank was assaulted and the left was not, he'd take a spearmen and the mage with him to hold the line, and leave the two archers and another spearman to defend the left flank. He wasn't really worried about the rear; the elves probably had it covered, seeing how often they stared at some precious tree or flower. Pathetic, really.
But overall, he judged the caravan to be well defended, though discipline was lacking amongst some ranks; he could, however, greatly appreciate Nakashimas little company; the men there seemed just as thoroughly drilled as his own, though slightly less defensive, but Arothas still trusted them to defend the front quite capably.

He called his second in command over. "LLudd, keep an eye to our rear and I want you to protect the cleric, I will personally take charge of the rangers. Now move,"
"Yes sir," Lludd responded as he fell back to where the cleric was walking.

Do not wish such things upon these men. Hope this good luck holds out, prepare yourself for the worst eventuality...

Drifting up behind him she tapped the top of his helmet and spoke in the common tongue "one of my Brother-Elves has found the possible tracks of goblins and several wolves or worgs walking alongside the the road, nearly a day ahead of this caravan."
B = Common
B = Elven
