Grask grunts in disbelief ''If my shaman is not dead already you think he will be returned if I dont offer something in exchange? No, I will take the boy and you will taste defeat at my hands." says Grask drawing his blade.''I did not expect you to give me the boy when I asked, I only wanted to draw attention here and delay your troops while mine got in position. And it worked." he lift his arm in the air and closes a fist. Which seems to be the signal as a wave of a hundred goblins charges out of the woods. Fifty on each side both group accompanied by three goblin Warg riders.
But no ogres other than the one on the road. Was he leading a tribe of goblins?

Balak Casts Bulls strength on himself (Standard)
And then reaches for a potion (Move)
And then readies his swift action to use his Anklet to Dimension Door near one of his squad to assist if needed.

"MEN OF THE FALCON; ASSUME FORMATION!" Arothas had been prepared for something like this. He'd been contemplating the use of stealth in warfare not moments ago, had he not? He rushed over to protect his flank, drawing his sword and getting ready to cast his spells, even as his two spearmen locked shields and the archers started firing. Damn. He glanced over briefly to his second-in-command, one of his archers, Kawun, a southerner...

Naka snorts, replying quietly as he glances to see the ambush commence. "So be it." There was no bitterness in his words, just a sense of acknowledgement. Wheeling his mount around he withdrew from the ogre commander, linking up with his cavalry and charges down the left flank with the intent of dropping the wargs and goblins alike.
A phalanx around the caravan, cavalry circles disrupting troops...a regrouping charge. Focus.

Ride by attack vs warg rider, possible cleave on goblin, if cleaved all within 10ft reach of me - DC 15 will save or panicked for 1d4 rounds. Moving (up to 100ft total) to back end of caravan.

" Stand your ground and fire at will ! " he tells his troops.
Activating and using his amulet of tears, he fortifies himself against attack. Moving forward twenty feet, he readies to attack the first two creatures to get in range, before teleporting back to the side of his dwarven axemen, a few feet from the caravan door.

Balak Drinks the potion he pulled out, becoming large size, and draws his Goliath Greathammer off his back, and protects the caravan.

The chieftain laughs a little and start to run straight towards the cart that has the prince inside, he's fast. Really fast.
He makes no move to attack anyone that doesn't stand in his way, and by the looks of it nobody wants to stand in his way. Some of the ranged fighter feel a little braver and take shots or hurl spells at him but the bolts are deflected away by a magical shield and the spells are absorbed by his armband. Moving 80 feet per round the Tribal leader will reach the caravan whit the prince inside in seconds. (next round to be precise)
The goblins however fall one after another few dealing any real damage at first but as they swarm into the ranks the soldiers start taking hits.
around 2/3 of the goblins are dead already and one warg rider. Several of your troops are starting to show signs of wounds however.

her companion was close she could sense him, Drae darted through the canopy, came to a stop and changed back to human, and there he was, with all the rangers, for a second she wrapped herself around his thick furry neck and breathed in the scent, then she stood up and pushed a stray hair away from her face and gave out orders "Aetha, you're on point, Cassandra, Luthi cover the flanks and Leo, cover the rear, I do not want goblins hitting us in the ass, Lae, you're the rookie so you get to hang back here with little old me - she gave him wink before turning to the group at large- alright people lets get moving" once they're all formed up Drae sets off towards the battle.

Arothas knew when a mission was failed; he also knew he could not fight the Ogre and win, even with the help of others.
Instead, he found himself quite aggressively massacring goblins, having his two spearmen fall back a little and guard the archers from the flank, he himself taking their place to avoid having loyal men killed.

" Stannis, ward the child, then calm the Ogre. " He told his second in command, intending him to cast Sanctuary on the child to stop him being the target of attacks. Followed by a Calm Emotions spell on the Ogre. He didn't know if it would work, but it was better to try than fail.
" Stay back, continue ranged attacks " he bellows to his troops, moving into a position to fight the ogre himself. He might have a chance. He spends time himself to ready his action again, making attacks against nearby goblins, slipping into his Stonefoot Stance that was designed for holding his ground against larger foes.

It seemed the ogre-king had unwavering intent to retrieve the Baron's son, no matter how many goblins he sent to their deaths. They were just a distraction for the superior combat expertise of the caravan guard. Undettered by Grask's stature and the way arrows failed to pierce his thick hide, Nakashima took it upon himself to drive off this giant of giants. Wheeling round his warhorse, he called out to his men as they hacked at and trampled the nearby goblins. "Circle the caravan! Two ranks, halt the goblin advance!" His mount rears, hoofs lashing out at the nearby goblins, yet he continues to speak clearly and calmly. "Now!
He thunders off, trampling over the goblin ranks as he bore down on Grask, spear extending in his grip. The spearhead glistened as Naka aimed the point at the ogre's flank. "Harrrrrgghhh!", his battlecry making his presence clear on the field of battle. A solid thrust. It connected definetely. But was it enough? If he had not felled Grask in one blow, then he would fell him in two, or three, or however many it took. He was not going to lose the boy.

The ogre slows when the horse comes at him and swing his mighty greatsword not at the man but at the horse.
as he takes the hit from Naka he cleaves the horse in half sending him flying. He took a severe hit to the shoulder but...His sword glows seemingly draining the life from the horse and giving it to him instead. The next thing you know the wound is almost completely healed.
And armband that block spells and a sword that drains life? No ordinary ogre indeed.
He looks at Naka hesitant, as if deciding whether to finish him of or keep going. He looks around at the chaos around them as the goblin wave is quickly being thinned and makes his decision continuing to the wagon.
Some goblins have made it to the first wagons containing the servants you hear the screams of those inside as one opens the door on one side.
Some arrows fired by some goblin archers fall around the battlefield some hitting the wagons and to make the situation worse a thick blanket of smoke begins to cover the road. (Fog cloud spell cast by goblin druid)
