Hiro took 3 damage (-3 END) when he decided to catch a frag grenade and didn't quite get it right......... it goes almost without saying that he is lucky to be in one piece!

Shraneal took 4 damage (-4 End) when she was standing in the middle of a corridor flicking the bird at some Gov't soldiers as they hosed the place down with auto-fire....... in the background Orthan was attempting a heroic rescue! How either of them survived is a mystery to me...... oh and Arrago had already fallen on the floor so he got away with it too!

You recover naturally with each full day of rest (1d6 + End mod)......... if you carry on your active lifestyle you only regain End mod hits each day.
A character who has lost at least 1 point from each of STR, DEX and END is considered seriously wounded........ and will only regain End Mod per day of rest....... which means that to recover he/she may well need medical attention........
The End Mod used for these calculations is current END Mod....... so it's quite possible to deteriorate if you carry on without care........
With this in mind Hiro might like to have applied First Aid to himself at some stage after being wounded. Roll 2d6 + Medic skill + Dex mod (you suffer -2 difficulty mod for doing it on yourself & normally you'd only be able to do this within the 1st hour after being wounded....... so we'll say Hiro had a go at least on the battlefield after the firing and before the march.
So, at the moment Hiro is on 5 END which means that without rest or medical attention he will lose 1 END each day (because END 5 is -1 mod)............. I think you have to think of Hiro's wound as minor, but painful and liable to get worse if he doesn't stop.

Hiro has managed a little late late first aid & recovered 1 END....... he is now 2 down on 6. This means that his current END mod is 0...... in other words left to itself & without rest his wound will neither improve nor deteriorate........

Arrago takes a shoulder wound -4 END. See above for an explanation, but this is a wound serious enough to need good first aid and rest to heal. He'll be feeling it, but he's not incapacitated.

Both Shran and Arrago recover 2 END. The Marine medic has some pretty advanced equipment of the sort that was never available either on corsair vessels nor for the rebels during the rebellion.

So Arrago will still be bandaged up and having to favor his other arm for a while?

Until he gets himself to the Dr, or takes a full day off to recover, he'll be recovering according to his END modifier for his reduced END. Up to the moment he recovers he will be feeling the wound, and the more active he is the more he'll feel it.

He'll go to the docs as soon as he is sure ms Gryff is ok, he's a tough old belter so a little pain won't stop him on his dutys.

Having an Endurance of 12 has its advantages. Arrago is now on effective Endurance 10, so he still enjoys a +1 mod. This means that even active he'll pretty much heal himself in a couple of days.

Shran takes a round to the lower leg: 2 damage & thus her endurance is reduced to 5 (mod -1)

So that means Gryff's current physical characteristics look like this:
Strength 1
Dexterity 7
Endurance 0
That's going to hurt!

Stettler's magic sponge restores 8 points to Gryff........
Her Strength is now back to full, and her endurance down only by 2........... she certainly feels the effects of both the rapidly repaired damage (she will be black and blue for a while) and the pharmaceutical cocktail she now has inside her........... but apart from that, amazingly well.
