More about Krysten Deh:




Krysten’s human mother died when she was very young; Krysten has no recollection of her at all beyond a few drawings that her father had. Her youth was spent traveling with her elven father, a bard of no little renown. He spent quite a bit of his time entertaining for nobility and often for royalty. He favored telling his young daughter stories, livened with his bardic magic, and most starred the Angel of Music.

Life was normal for Krysten until her father fell ill…and no manner of magic could cure him. He eventually sent her away for fear she would catch his sickness, his last words to her being that the Angel of Music would find her. Krysten’s father died later that night, and to this day she still grieves for him. After her father’s death, she was sent to live with a distant relative, a minor noblewoman who, for all her haughty upbringing, was very kind to Krysten, eventually aiding Krysten in her first barding performances.

Not long after Krysten began performing, she began hearing a voice which sang and spoke to her. She is convinced this voice belongs to the Angel of Music, and it has never denied that. Although her father had taught her the rough basics of barding, the bulk of her training was through the genius of the Angel of Music.

Her training is not yet complete, but Krysten has struck out into the world anyhow, seeking to search out new inspiration and spread her influence further. It has not yet been seen how the Angel of Music feels about this disobedience.
