Moonlilly was born to poor parents in the forests of the east and at a young age they sold her to support themselves. She was given the name Cowery and placed in a large estate, at first tending to the gardens but as she got older and more mature she was put to other various tasks. Some of which included having her body used by various masters before being tossed aside. The few times she tried to fight back she quickly found herself locked in a closet. During this time as a slave she met a young boy name Danrick and declared herself his protector, always looking after him and making sure he was fed, even giving over her own meager rations when he appeared hungry. She was often flogged for doing this or for defending the boy but nonetheless she took the punishments without a word.

One night as she was being dragged away to be locked in a closet again, her slave master struck Danrick. Anger flooded Moonlilly and her body shone with a silvery light. An image of a herd of silvery stags with glowing golden antlers sprang into the air around her. In her rage she struck down the men dragging her away and pounced on the master slaver. Jamming her fingers into his eyes she pressed until his eyes burst. She moved through the estate yelling that the other slaves were now free, killing any slavers she encountered. Busting down the door to the master slavers rooms she found locked in a chest a weapon that felt it was made just for her, a PowerBow made of Orichalcum.

Returning to Danrick she gathered him up and escaped the estate. Searching for days she found a family willing to take him in and care for him as their own since they could not have children of their own. Telling the family she would return to check on Danrick from time to time, Moonlilly determined that she would end slavery in Creation. The Guild gave her a home and a little money in a feeble attempt to reconcile for her years as a slave. She accepted but quickly set out to pierce the heart of the slavery problem. She set out for Nexus.
