Grabbing hold of the enigmatic figure your bulk drives it to the ground dirtying his robes, locked staring at the blank and shining mast as bits of spittle fall upon it, you watch as spittle turns to blood, you feel your insides burn at touching the figure as the hazy essence surrounding it envelops you, the light of your anima is suffused with fire lighting the cavern as far back as the entrance and clearing away all shadows. Your body lies atop it, it glows no more. (if the rest of you still want to fight it is tepots turn and darics before the emissary can get up, it is currently moderately pinned by fangs body)

(it has been a few days and this is technically a reflexive charm) The emmisary vanishes from under the body of your new friend, there is a certain level of silence before the water continues it's rushing before you, nothing seems to stand between you and escape save a quick moving river. The beautiful woman you have been traveling wiht rushes over the the body of your friend, hold it, and cries.

Tepot just stares at the dead Lunar. "What.... What was that?" he asks, his voice less certain, less commanding then it usually was. "What is the dogma of which it spoke?"

He had been surprised by the creature, he had blinked and the fight was over... there was nothing he could have done to save the Lunar in the end, the only saving grace was that she would exalt again, a long time from now to be sure, but she would live on. His equipment would have hurt her as much as the enemy...

Walking over to where Helia and Winter are, he seems to regain his composure. " We must go on, if only to get away from here. Grieve once we are safe." the area before you is a fast rushing river that divids the tunnel, the area you are currently in is littered with debreis of the old city, pillars and masonry litter the area. There were many turnoffs on the way to this location but the whole area is rather labrinthian and finding another way to the surface would b difficult and even moreso picking where that would be.

Danai looked over the river for a moment, trying to formulate a plan. "Alright I have an idea. Is there any chance we could get some of these pillars moved into the water? We could form a bridge. It wouldn't last long, but we'd be able to get over it quickly before it gave way."

(ok partially for expediency, if you wish to move the pillars over then you will need to make a charisma+performance roll to organize the group to pull the pillar over, a perception +awareness roll to make sure you pick a good pillar that won't bring the ceiling down on you and finally a dex +athletics roll to get across. Everyone else will just need the dex + athletics check which if not prompt I will make for them.) (also thank you for posting I really don't want to see this game die it would make me sad)

Danai begins trying to get her men to move the pillars, and orders them to get the others to help them as well, but not forcefully. They didn't want to make enemies of their newfound allies.

With all your men working together in tandem you are able to tip over the pillar, you pick a big one and are able to lead your men across, Helia and the lovely archer also get across no problem as does the man with the odd orbs (I rolled for those who cannot post easily). Once on the other side Helia leads you a ways through the caverns and just outside of the city walls. As you step out into the light a small boy steps out of a shadow and smiles Helia walks over and greets him and speaks to him for a moment before he smiles and comes over. Helia speaks to the group "I have taken you this far at least and I am soo glad for your help but from here on in I do not know the way as well and so we shall be relying on my friend Taiko here for navigation, He knows a way out for the slaves and the land around here better than anyone and should be able to get you far away from here without detection" The boy Taiko, looking scraggly and about 10 seems as though he could not harm a fly, slightly sickly and very dirty with the clothes of a street orphan and seems very cherry and smiling, he bows politely and starts walking in a direction away from the city.
( I am rushing a bit but I would like to get this moving a bit more and another combat seems a horrifying concept till people are posting more consistently)

Danai looked at the boy, unsure of what to think. "If he can lead us all to safety, then by all means let him lead." She motioned to her fighters, wanting them gathered around her. "We need to protect these people. We have the means to, and we need to. Let them lead, and we will follow behind to make sure no one follows us out of the tunnel."

The boy Taiko began walking across the swamp rice fields, motioning to follow motioning to stop without any visible reason, sleeping in bushes and waters that cannot be fully sanitary, eating yet unpicked rice till you may question your route save that within 4 day you found yourself standing on a hill, looking over the miles of rice fields and nexus as a distant point, the boy walks up to another man who seems to be waiting on the hill well dressed and otherwise innocuous, they talk for a few moments and the man walks up to speak to you "Good evening my name is Fakun Nodad and it is good to meet you all, you are officially outside of the nexus border and as free as you can keep yourself and we have people who can help with that. A powerful lady I represent has somewhat of a business proposition for you which can easily include the safety of these slaves from further imprisonment if you would only come with me a few more miles to meet with her and hear her out. I believe she also has warm beds and good food and clothes ready for you all if you wish, now I will not force you to come of course it is your own choice but considering the effort little Taiko has put to getting you hear I feel it would be rude not to."
