Janet is shocked as there is suddenly silence, the others have gone...have they left her.

There is the sound of someone clearing their throat, she turns to see Don leaning against the wall, an arm around two naked beauties. One of them kissing his face and neck the other sliding her hand down his trousers.... [color=#6666CC;]"Hello sugarpie, fancy seeing you here. I hear you have been broken in now well and truly, no longer the sweet little thing are you, just happy with the missionary...now and again...if that!"[/color] His eyes roll slightly as one of the women rubs against him, [color=#6666CC;]"Oooh, thats good. Wish I'd have been there, I might have even had a quick dip in myself...."[/color]

Janet looked around her at the sudden silence, her alarm rapidly growing into terror as she saw that the others had vanished, Where were they? They had been there seconds ago. Janet looked frantically at the nearby buildings, had something threatened them? Had they run for cover? But why had they not warned her? Had they decided they didn't want her any more and left her? "No" she breathed, they wouldn't do that surely. "WHERE ARE YOU?" she screamed, not caring if something dangerous responded, she couldn't be alone.. she couldn't. "DON'T LEAVE ME, PLEASE.. ADAM..." she howled not registering that she had only called one name or which one.

Janet turned as she heard someone, a man, clear his throat but her relief disappeared instantly. "Don?" she whispered, her face reddening in embarrassment and confusion at the things he was saying. "No, I was mistaken you're not Don. You can't be.. you.. you're.. Don's dead.. I saw him dead and he would never say those things, he.. he loved me". Janet's words sounded uncertain even to her own ears, but it couldn't be him could it? She knew he was dead. She had seen him herself, back in that road. Had held him close and felt his body cooling. Yes he had been unfaithful to her, but he had believed her dead which freed him of any obligation.

You know I had a woman in every town, I had to get my jollys somewhere because you wouldn't give them to me,"[/color] he laughed and fondled the naked woman to his left. [color=#6666CC;]"All those men...what they did to you....poor little Janet. I so wish I had been there and f***ed you like the B***h you are. Some of your riends are here and want to say hello."[/color] He points towards the university and Janet sees several figures, burned and bloody and oh so familiar moving slowly towards them. [color=#6666CC;]"I get to watch this time...lucky me....unless you want to give me a quickie before they arrive."[/color] He gestures at his crotch.

"No.. Oh no.. please no" whimpered Janet as she saw the figures coming for her. They were dead, they couldn't hurt her again, but they were here. They were coming for her. "It's not true" she pleaded to 'not Don' as she was convinced he was. "I missed Don every time he went away and after all this happened I came all the way here to find him but when I did it was too late". As Janet backed away from the approaching horrors she came up against a wall but something else connected with it first. Her bow. Janet had almost forgotten she still had it with her. She had become accustomed to its presence over her shoulder and it wasn't natural to her to consider using it. Hastily she readied it and aimed it at the leading figure. "Keep back. Get away from me and leave me alone or I'll shoot" she shouted with more conviction than she currently felt. She had been an easy target for them before, maybe if she didn't look to be an easy victim this time they would leave her alone.

Janet felt an arm snake around her waist as 'not Don' came behind her, he licked her earlobe and whispered [color=#6666CC;]"How much did you miss me?"[/color] she could feel hardness from his groin against her bottom.

Janet pulled away from the man with a grimace of disgust. "I don't know who you are.. or what you are, but I haven't missed you at all. Get back to your whores if that's what you want, at least they're willing" she hissed. She still wore Don's ring. He had loved her enough to want to marry her so she can't have been all that bad.. could she? Whatever this imitation was it was.. wrong. She knew that she and Don hadn't had all that much in common but she couldn't ever imagine him being like this. But how well had she really known him? Not at all it would seem. Doubt flooded Janet's mind anew even as she shook herself free of the man she still could not accept was her dead love and took aim again. "I mean it, this is your last warning" she said, her voice not so confident now. "Get away or I will shoot".

[color=#6666CC;]"Stop fighting bitch!"[/color] 'not Don' slapped Janet hard around the face, she lost the grip on the bow string and the arrow went wild. He slapped away the bow and kissed her violently, his tongue felt like a cold slug as it tried to find its way between her lips. His hand grabbed her breast and squeezed hard.

Janet wanted to scream as 'not Don' squeezed her breast, she was still sore there from when Chris's evil guards had manhandled her, but with an effort she kept her lips closed and brought her knee up sharply. The memory of the previous assault was brought freshly before her now and she fought wildly to escape the hold this.. creature had on her. Those things, whether real or not were still coming for her and she couldn't bear the thought of them touching her again. She had to get the bow back. The thought of the arrow that had flown off randomly slipped into her head. She had been aiming it at the leading monster before 'not Don' had interfered, with any luck it had at least hit one of them.

Janet manages to get away from 'not don' the taste in her mouth is vile from his kiss. When suddenly her vision shifts, for several seconds she sees the others and not the foul creatures coming towards her. The others seem locked in their own battle, then her vision shifts back....but the brief insight into reality has strengthened her resolve

Janet stumbled away from 'not Don' spitting furiously, trying to remove the taste of him from her mouth. As she rubbed at her lips everything wavered suddenly and she saw that those she had been told, and had perceived, were the dead guards were in fact the other members of her group. As quickly as it had changed, the scene shifted back, but Janet had time to see the others seemingly fighting with nothing. She must have been the same she supposed, none of this was real. "The arrow" she suddenly thought. Did it hit one of them? one of her friends? Janet tried to force herself away from the illusion and back into reality. What if she had hurt or.. or... No she couldn't think that, she musn't. She would never forgive herself.

The false reality crumbles before Janets willpower, and she is suddenly wrenched back to the current weirdness that the whole group is in the centre of. There is no sign of the arrow....
