Vixen watched the door to Rock's door for a moment, a curious look on her face. This would be the first time a man had escorted her to a room and not come in with her. "Rock, you are definitely an enigma." She went into her own room, closed the door and locked it, and went about preparing for bed.

Serpent inhaled deeply allowing the smoke to fill his lungs, he looked over to Shifty, "Thanks, I'm not used to being on a ship, I really needed to stretch my legs. Hey what can you tell me about my family now, a man likes to know who does what the best and I ain't the kind to go up to everyone of them and ask." he said taking another toke and passing it back.

A rooster caws, waking everyone sleeping in the Rusty Pan Inn up. Muffled sounds can be heard coming from downstairs. People are chatting, ordering breakfast and getting on with their daily chores. Tubby, Worms, Pockets, One-Eye, Goblin and Tom-Tom. Tubby already has a massive breakfast laid out in front of him. Pockets and Worms have their heads down, obviously discomforted by their hang over and the mages are sitting around a table starring at the list.

Crow gets up, washes up a little, then heads downstairs over to the table were the mages are and sits down and gives out with a yawn, then asks, "Well, are gonna stay together to get that stuff, or split up into 2 groups to get it?"

The mages looked up from the list at Crow. "Morning sunshine, glad ya could make it!" Goblin screeched. As Goblin spoke the current Black Company members in the common room started to make their way towards the mages and split into two groups. "That answer ya question?" Goblin said, a piece of bread hanging from his mouth.
One one side was One-Eye, Tom-Tom and Worms. Goblin, Tubby and Pockets were on the other. Rock, Vixen, Shifty and Serpent were nowhere to be seen.
One-Eye looked at Crow, "Goblin's group are going for the items on the shopping list while my group will be going for the specialty item. The shopping list will be easy, ours not so. Who ya want to join and help?"

"Well, i've never liked easy, so i'll join you and your brother, no offense goblin." Crow replies with a smile.

Vixen came out of her room, still rubbing some of the sleep from her eyes as she tried to wake up completely. She knocked on Rock's door, wanting to get the man up for breakfast. As much as he could put away, she didn't want him missing a meal.

Goblin laughs at Crows decision. "Biggest mistake you've made so far buddy!" he screeched with laughter.

As Vixen knocks a slight noise causes her to turn around. Rock was slumped against the wall of the stairs leading down. He looked as if he had spent the night there.
"Everyone is already down stairs." Rock says a smile on his face motioning with his hand for her to lead the way.

"Ah, there's Rock and Vixen now." One-Eye says as they both walk down the stairs and enter the common room. "Vixen, we have two groups heading out to retrieve some items. My group consists of Tom-Tom, Crow, Worms and myself, while Goblin, Tubby and Pockets make up the other. We of course have the harder mission. Rock has said you will decide which group to join." The present members of the Black Company wait for Vixens response.

Vixen weighed the options presented before she spoke. "I'll go with you One-Eye, I love a challenge." She sat down at the table and got ready for some breakfast. She never fought on an empty stomach. "So what are we going to retrieve?"

Goblin stood, "Well that's finally done. Tubby, Pockets, time to hit the markets!" Tubby and Pockets followed Goblin out of the inn.
That left One-Eye, Tom-Tom, Worms, Rock, Vixen and Serpent.
Taking a drink from his mug One-Eye motioned for everyone to come and sit close to him. "This needs to stay hush hush. What we're after is a book, any book really, as long as it belongs to a mage, meaning it wont be easy to get our hands on. The first step is to find out if there are any mages here in Chimney. We'll split into two groups, Tom-Tom and Worms with me. We'll meet back here tonight. Keep out of trouble and don't let people become suspicious! If the local guard or the gangs figure out what we're up to it can mean a whole lot of trouble! The Captain won't like that!" One-Eye got up and stretched his back. "We head out in two separate directions. If you learn of any mages don't go after them!" One-Eye left with his little team leaving Crow, Vixen and Rock in the inn together.

Mages? While they could be tough opponents, even mages still bled. "Alright, so we're going scouting. Have you two been to Chimney before? This is my first time here, so I'm unfamiliar with the city." Vixen was eager to be out of the inn and into the city, if nothing more than to exercise some sore muscles. The walk would do her good if nothing else.

"No, this is my first time here, though i think the person w/ you has been, so we'll let him be our guide for this place, though i think we should ask some street urchins since they generally know what's going on in a city, or whores." Crow says looking at vixen and rock.

[anguish]

One-Eye, Tom-Tom and Worms exit the inn.
Rock nodes his head at Crow's comment, "Yes, I've been here before.Tell me where you want to go and I can take you. I know where the urchins hide, the whores mostly work for a man down by the prison." Rock shuffles on his feet, he turns to Vixen and smiles, obviously happy he could help.

"Well good, let's go talk to the urchins, and ummm..... do you have any copper to give to them for information, or as a reward perchance, i'm sorta broke at the moment." Crow says.

"Very well, urchins it is then." Vixen still had her coin purse, and pulled a few pieces of copper from it. "I think I have a silver piece too, just to sweeten the deal if they can find us a few options for our little quest."
