Serpents kukri enters the body of the man, right up to the hilt. The man takes a staggering step back, eyes bulging, blood dripping from his mouth. The kukri pulls free and the man drops dead, blood gushes from the wound.

Rage fills the eyes of Man 3 bumrushes Serpent just as he pulls free from the now dead man.

Roll: 1d20+4
19 = 15[d20]+4
Roll: 1d20+4
20 = 16[d20]+4
Roll: 1d6

The mans short sword plunges into Serpents left shoulder, which falls limp as soon as the short sword is drawn free.

Serpent -8 HP = 8HP remaining.

Man 1 attacks Shifty again...

Roll: 1d20+4
11 = 7[d20]+4

but misses as Shifty dodges and counter attacks with his daggers...

Roll: 1d20+5
17 = 12[d20]+5

Roll: 1d20+5
7 = 2[d20]+5

Roll: 1d6+2
7 = 5[d6]+2

One dagger misses but the other finds it's mark, Man 1's throat. He gurgles as he drops trying to breathe through the new wind pipe.

The leader looks shocked as he watches two of his men fall to their deaths, one last man still fighting (Man 3). Turning, he makes a run for it!

Serpent looks at Shifty, "Come on let's finish this."

Daggers and short sword clang against each other in the dark of night as Shifty struggles with the last fighting man, "I've got this guy Serpent, get the leader!"

Serpent leaped towards the leader, slashing with his Kukri, hoping against all odds to slow the man down before he got additional help.

The leader falls with a loud scream as Serpent's kukri slashes his back. Turning onto his back he looks up at Serpent, "Please, don't kill me! Please!" He begs. Shifty walks on over and stands by Serpent, a cloth in his hand, cleaning his twin daggers, "What do you think? Kill him or take him back to The Captain?"

"Why should we let you live? What do you have that is possibly of value beside your miserable life. Maybe we can sell you to a slaver." Serpent said as he hauled the man up, and whispered in his ear. "Any sign of struggle or even a whisper and I will slice you from your groin up to your navel and let you bleed a slow death."

The leader didn't give any struggle, he knew it would mean his death. He kept his mouth tight. Shifty followed behind Serpent closely, keeping an eye on the captured leader. The walk back to the ship was quick, the streets were deserted, not even a whores were about.
"Take the prisoner down to the cells. I'll go wake the captain." Shifty said as they boarded the ship. Shifty headed towards the Captains cabin.

Serpent led the prisoner down the stairs keeping an eye on him. He whistled as he led the man to the holding cells. He unlocked the door and through the man in. "Keep quiet till the captain decides what to do with you and then I want you to sing for all you got, understand me."
