Almost as soon as the crew are settled into the mind-set of space travel, the ship's boat is hailed by Quare Main Traffic Control:

Please send through your registration details and complete relevant customs forms 2113 and 7761a. Upon entering Quare's Domestic Traffic Zone you will be directed to your landing and disembarkation destination. QMTC out.

"Well that was a short trip,at least we didnt get attacked this time.Orthan,Shran please take us in and lets get the formalities over with."

A scroll of various readouts on velocity and approximate landing time flashed across the screen as Orthan made some adjustments. He gave the control centre the information they required and awaited authorisation to land

"So... 'Quare'," the doctor said, looking on the moon on the viewscreen, tasting the name as he did so. "Anything in particular we should know about this place? Perhaps our newest crewmembers know something of interest?" He looked around, to see if either miss Delaware or the tech, whose name had escaped him, where anywhere nearby what might pass for a bridge on the boat.

Gryff monitored the engines as they moved in to land, taking special notice of the cooling systems in place.

Arrago volunteered "I hear they have a nice little Maifya set up, the 5th planet syndicate."

Shranael plotted relevant courses for Orthan, keeping quiet as they moved through the silence of space. She didn't want to admit it, but the new woman on board bothered her a little. She was something new thrown into the equation, and she wasn't sure where exactly she fit in. She'd have to get to know the woman better, and as long as she didn't try to get to know Orthan better, then things would stay civil.

The Marquis tapped his fingers on a console,impatient to finally arrive at Quare.He had his suspicions that it would not live up to the hype and also that something else unexpected was bound to happen to them.Still life was never boring and the last few weeks had been nothing short of hectic.Prehaps he would write a book about it later on,if he was still around to write it..

Stettler nodded in acknowledement of Arrago's info: "Yes.. I suppose that is the most importnt bit to keep in mind. We aren't sightseeing, after all. Do we have any idea how to proceed? I don't know how big or crowded this place is, but chances are it isn't all that bustling, in which case we're alot more likely to be noticed - and kept an eye on - than our last destination."

With the coordinates plotted Orthan gently corrected the flight path and began preparation for a descent. “All is in order QMTC. awaiting your Ok” he said wanting to update the base controllers and break the silence which seemed to engulfed the flight deck

This is QMTC, we are putting you in a holding pattern until your official documentation is checked; we have passed all details and customs declarations on and you are in a queue. Be aware that in accordance with Legislative Order 5664b you may be required to submit to a customs search either in space or on arrival. Please maintain holding pattern according to flight instructions. QMTC out.

And so, in common with a small swarm of small craft and starships, you find yourselves held awaiting official approval to finish your voyage to Quare.

Some rudimentary information is already available to you on this moon-world: it is a moon of one of this system's gas giants, but its rather eccentric orbit and the proximity of the rather dim primary star mean that it is a searingly hot rockball.

'You don't want to go outside' the hacker says with his apparently habitual good-natured sneer, 'but you don't have to worry about the 5th Planet Syndicate, their power base is on another one of this system's delightfully welcoming frak-holes. The space port isn't bad here, Class IV by Imperial standards, but really this place is a factory world; they make ships for the Federation of Arden now, mainly missile boats, gunboats, that sort of thing,......patrol corvettes and so on. I worked here for a while..'

The hacker falls silent, returning his gaze through a porthole to space, and after a moment Delaware adds her opinion: 'There certainly isn't much sight-seeing to be done, but there are some quite good shops and a few good bars; the food is pretty rough I am sorry to say.'

Morgan lets out a long sigh upon hearing this and passes in between the seats handing out some drinks and snacks he has made:

'Why do so many people choose to live' he muses 'in places where the coffee is disgusting, the vegetables all taste of the packaging they come in and where no-one but no-one has any manners at all?'

Arrago nodded at the hacker and Delaware's insight and responded testily to Morgan's question, his snack untouched "Because some can't afford to live anywhere else, stamped down by some rich scrits in their Ivory towers.the others are too scared to move, intimidated by the Mobsters and the Maifya from their deep dank holes. Most times it isn't a choice Morgan"

Morgan looks at Arrago and lets out a slow breath, not quite a sigh, his face a picture of stern neutrality. 'Is the snack not to your liking Mr Martinez?' he asks.

Arrago shrugged "It's fine. I'm just not a snack person." he looked out of one of the tiny windows, partly to look away from Morgan, partly to see if he could spot Quare, maybe he would meet up with Yolanda again.
